I always wondered why the rift was necessary. That's pretty clever.

Looking at getting a pair of bleeding runes for my nekai. How much bleeding does it add (or enhance?). And is this a worthwhile weaponry rune for a Nekotai psymet monk?

EDIT: Do bleeding runes affect kata "bleeding" kicks?
Veyrzhul2010-01-02 15:18:50
Don't think those work for kata weapons.

EDIT: Seems it's wounding runes that don't work.

Once you've done the 5 guardian lines, do you have to do the 3 epic quests in any particular order?
Unknown2010-01-03 11:35:39
Need to do it in the order your head mob tells you to. Do x quest, give item to headmob, clear, new instructions, do y quest, same, etc etc.

What are the trio of quests at the end of the new cities' epic quests? Heck, what is the trio for Mag even?

Mag is Gorgogs, Marani, Ladantine's Ship.

Gaudiguch is that mirror-army quest, Zoaka, Hand.

Not sure what Halli's is, they've been playing with bugs. I imagine Mirror Army, Lucidian Observatory, Hand.
Razenth2010-01-03 19:44:53
Is hand easier for them, or is it still 50+ layers?
Rika2010-01-03 20:04:26
Ixchilgal's doing the Hand. Still seems as long and boring as always. Not fair how I have already done both sides and still need to do it once more if I want my orgbix. D:

Somewhat sure that's recklessness.

It's actually a symptom of hypochondria. This is the only place you'll find that particular message, since it originates from the "berserk" affliction that doesn't exist any more (because it was virtually identical to recklessness, as I understand it).

Part of me wants to say "that should be brought to the Streamlining Committee's attention" and part of me thinks "wait, getting rid of a unique hypochondria message might actually make system creation/maintenance harder, not easier" and then the parts of me argue about whether that's almost like bug abuse. And that's when all of me decides to go to bed.

What a great explanation, thanks.

If you attach an artifact rune to a vial, what happens when you detach it? (does it get traded in, or come back to your inventory?)

EDIT: Nevermind, found it in the help files- the whole vial is traded in at 2/3rds the artifact runes' value.

And that's when all of me decides to go to bed.

I have to think hard sometimes about whether something is a bug or not. I tend to approach things mechanically. When I discovered that you could try to target a battle turret while it's off balance and find out what creatures are out there my first thought was that I could write some scanner code to run through all the beasts and see what's in range. Then I thought it was kind of odd to use the turret while off balance and maybe they would change it later and invalidate my code. Then it occurred to me that maybe it was unintentional and I should just leave it alone. And it was a bit later that I realized I should log it as a bug. (Which they have fixed.)

How long does oil of preservaton last on an item and by how much does it reduce the decay time?

Would it stack with a jewelry box?

Does anyone have a log of when Morgfyre first returned and all of the other Elders teamed up to knock his ass into the ocean?
