For me to know, and for you to find out.

Seriously though... it's a "quest" to get to them. Nuff said.

Well, someone with more sense and niceness demonstrated where they were. I appreciate their thoughtfulness! don-t_mention.gif

It's not a matter of sense and niceness. I know where they are, and I'd gladly tell you if we met in game and you asked in character, but on the forums, we're not allowed to post quest information.

And for the beast question, a full feedbag is four feeds, and lasts 4 days plus one of starvation if memory serves.

Does anyone know if prayers to gods get logged for them to read if they aren't around?

I sent one up but I'm not sure if I should do it again sometime.
Rika2009-12-31 22:27:58
Pretty sure they do.
Rancoura2010-01-01 04:28:31
Would anyone happen to have a description of a firegem handy?

How often can I administer a reagent (of the type to match the food of course) to a beast?

It's usually after 2 feedbag fills, though I've found this to vary occasionally.

I know it's probably too late to ask this but... is there a way to complete the Wayfaire quest if you can't influence for weakening?

Also, is it 32 hours between each full moon?

No and yes.

Could anyone put into a percentage, if possible, how much more essence I'd gain as a human?
Llesvelt2010-01-02 00:51:22
I am an idiot.

First I lose my first 100% Esteem Diamond, possibly because I logged off and it was not rifted, I figured thats why.

But now, I Esteem another Diamond 100% and try to rift it, just to see if it actually works. Then I pull out all my Diamonds in individual groups and start probing them for the Esteemed one, and its simply not there. It seems my experiment has paid off.

My question: Are Diamonds (or other riftables) supposed to lose Esteem after being rifted or is this a bug?
Lendren2010-01-02 00:59:36
Anything rifted loses any of its individual attributes like esteem once it goes into the rift. (Because internally, the rift isn't a pile of diamond objects, it's just a count of how many diamonds you have, thus saving huge gobs of database space, which is the whole reason rifts exist.)

I just did a quick experiment. I outrifted a red tint, got the ID and rifted it again. Repeated and the ID was different. This shows that they are not necessarily the exact same item. Rather, the item may only be created as you outrift them. So, when putting esteem on one, it's possibly a completely different item that you outrift.
Llesvelt2010-01-02 01:24:04
Oh well, it happens. No reason to cry over spilt milk.

Thanks.
Rancoura2010-01-02 02:32:11
No one with a firegem description?

I am now going to INR / OUTR / INR / OUTR a diamond until that fully esteemed diamond comes up biggrin.gif. It's gotta happen sometime!

That's not what I mean!

I think the item just gets destroyed when you INR it and created when you OUTR again

why not outr them all, seperate a single one, rift it and see what happens?
Xavius2010-01-02 04:10:45
I'll save you the trouble. The rift is not storage space. The rift is a counter. Nothing more. Same goes for items with similar mechanics, such as runebags. You can put a rune in and get a rune out, but you can't get your favorite rune with an awesome id back.
