I'm sorry, your reply must be phrased in the form of a question.
Like the last several before mine?

If I'm a kephera and a warrior, am I still able to wear plate, or are kephera basically stuck with robes no matter what?
You're stuck with robes. If you are a human wearing plate and use a cameo to become kephera, the armour will even come off and mysteriously end up in your inventory.

That said, a Kephera in splendors is damn tanky.

Are there any updated Tailoring databases being maintained by anyone?
Rancoura2009-12-17 20:52:31
Also, will an original book decay if it is left in a room (rather than a bookshelf) for storage, or display, et cetera?

Veonira's is offline, so not that I know of.

Books never decay, as far as I'm aware.

Library books will "decay" after a set amount of time, which means they just magically return to the library if you keep them out for too long (invent whatever whimsical reasons why this happens IC if you like).
This also happens with books from guild libraries, which are bookshelves, so I'm quite sure it will work that way for books belonging to a personal bookshelf as well. Any book that is not shelved in such a way or is not the personal journal you get for being a newbie does not reset to a person/place.

Yes, but that's different from the book proper decaying into death forever.

What Tervic said. I'm referring to a book that hasn't been shelved anywhere - a book that isn't a copy, but the original. I'd hate to leave it in a guildhall room, for example, as aesthetic display to complement the room, only to have it decay or otherwise disappear (without someone taking it).

When I came back after a two year absence, one of the four things I had left on my person was a personal scroll containing the Book of Tae. Your book will keep just fine. It's just an issue of stopping someone from walking off with it.
The Blacktalon managed to stick a book on a lectern somehow in the Glomdoring, but I'm not sure if that's a publicly-available thing or something a Divine had to whip up.

Hmm. Anyone have an answer to that?

Believe you need a divine to do it. I think Eventru had to put the Celest laws in the visitor's centre.

It's totally doable though, as there are several instances of a book in a lectern type things across the Lusternian world. Shikari's temple is another example that I can think of off the top of my head.

Oh, yeah. I'm sure it's super easy and not a big deal to do. I just was saying I don't think mortals can do it themselves.

Nah, though I wouldn't mind letting us Artisans make smalltables that can do the deed. At least then smalltables would have a use.

I can see quite a few issues that could come up after doing that.

Can you earn family honour if you are in an Order different from your Patron Divine?
I've offered to Eventru a few times (Not a ton), but nothing seems to change. I have seen the message that says something like, Honor shines upon your house because someone has offered at your patron's shrine. I don't want to go all crazy with it if it wont make any difference. Also, holding an elected seat seems to do nothing as well... at least nothing that changes the score.

If the elected seat does not show in the log, bug it. However, I think honor for offering is only given when the whole family reaches a certain point.

That's your problem, then.
It only registers after a certain amount.
