what's the reward for raising marani?
Deathsight spam. And if you kill her she drops a nice chunk of change <<

Can regular, non-splendour robes be made permanent with credits?
Unknown2009-12-16 21:23:29
If ANY robes can be made permanent, I'm going to petition to have my armor made permanent.

You can do that. (As a forger.)

Yeah, for 100 power, and then only at trans.
Shaddus2009-12-16 21:28:32
Never mind. Apparently if a set of robes has been enchanted, they can't be perm'd.

And you get better stats!

I have the credits to customize the armor, make it non-decay, rune it, or any other thing, but I'm not masochist enough to take up Forging.
Would the forger get to keep his perma-armor forever after forgetting Forging? I'd heard that you lost the master armor thing when you switched.

You don't have to be a Masochist anymore, remember? Temper!

I think you get to keep your master armour until you forget knighthood or bond with another piece but don't quote me.
EDIT: According to the lore wiki this is correct.

I would either have to expend the credits to switch trade skills twice or suffer the people would be begging me to make crap for them.
That makes sense (and sounds familiar, but I forgot where to find it). Thanks, Rael!

If you're grouchy enough, people won't ask you to forge for them.

It can remain a secret between the two of us until you've finished my 220 speed tahto and can drop the skillset again.

I'm sorry, your reply must be phrased in the form of a question.
If I'm a kephera and a warrior, am I still able to wear plate, or are kephera basically stuck with robes no matter what?
Ardmore2009-12-17 17:50:16
So after many humours attempts to debate, I have come to the conclusion that I just don't understand how the heck it works.
Can someone explain to me how debating works? There's mindsets, afflictions, etc. I don't get them.

It's like a two-dimensional rock-paper-scissors. For each attack, there is a mindset that hurts the victim badly, hurts the victim only slightly, or backfires and hurts the attacker.
The afflictions just increase the lost ego against certain attacks, and the attitudes defend/cure against certain afflictions.
