What are good stats for splendor robes? I honestly don't remember. (The pair I just had enchanted came out 73/59 - good or bad?)

Aim for 70+/70+, or at least 140 aggregate.

Is there a way to tell what privs you have within a given clan?
Unknown2009-12-11 01:07:31
If you have access to "clan exec_summary", then yes. There's no CLAN PRIVS, though.

What's the ability that periodically shields someone with cobalt sparks?
Ayisdra2009-12-12 22:46:16
Is there any place that lists all public designs (with comms used and desc.)? (in specific, artisan designs)

That's a Celestian phial, SPRINKLE PHIAL ( I think ). It's just a shield.

Your friendly local artisan!
Other than that, no.

Kharaen used to have a website with it, but I haven't been there in a while. Your friendly neighborhood artisan can always answer your questions.

but I don't know what I want exactly! why it would be more productive and useful for me to have a list of them all...instead of an artisan c/p each and everyone that might be something I'm looking for. (which very well may be 20+ designs...)

That's always been a problem. Unfortunately, no solution but to bother an actual artisan...make sure you tip well!

Notably, though, it has a 2 second eq time instead of 4.25 seconds. It's actually pretty awesome. Only works every 6 seconds, though.

Alright, considering the Norns thinks asking about a skill's formula is something best asked elsewhere rather than the folk who actually coded it, I ask: 1) what is the formula used to calculate the damage incurred when sacrificing for a singular target? I'm assuming that it's a set percentage + a set number, but I don't do math well. Also, 2) anyone know how long the period of time is between a Healer's capability to cure someone's insanity is? That is, how long before Bob can cure Susie's sanity again after siphoning from her once already?

People can't help you with the math if you don't post the numbers.
Post the sacrifice damage, 2-3x for each health level (karma life blessing & one of those +health artifacts vs. none, to try to get the largest difference in health possible).

How does Serpent work? Is there any way to penetrate its protection?
Does a low resilience rank (say adept) help much? I don't mind spending 89 lessons to adept if I get 0.3*25% damage reduction (ie: diminishing returns) but if it's more like 89/1715*25% reduction then I'll pass. By the way I made all that up and have no idea what the numbers really are so that's why I'm asking.

The prismatic barrier is designed to be impenetrable and unremovable, but if the one surrounded by the prismatic barrier moves or attacks, it drops. With Serpent, it recurs on a timer for a set time period.
As for Resilience, you will gain a small benefit with each lesson spent. So, 89 lessons gives you the benefit of 89/1715*25%, yes. It's not based on skill rank.

Shiri2009-12-14 15:30:28
Also force skills can cause the user to drop it and psionics just randomly ignore it entirely.

Also usable while prone, unless that's been changed.
