Can you customize proofed greatrobes with no-decay, or does that qualify under "enchanted?"

No, you can't. But if you put them in a cabinet between uses they'll last a darned long time. (If you game the system and make sure they're in a cabinet as midnight rolls over on the 1st and 13th, they'll last forever. But don't tell anyone I said so.) And if you preserve the cabinet with a 50cr stasis gem, it in turn will last forever.

If I started playing this game again would anyone promise to duel me all the time?

Also is there anyone competent playing the Celestine class right now, slash has it received any relevant buff/nerfs recently?
Razenth2009-11-27 23:51:06
No competent Celestines. Um... radiance does damage on Heretic line peeps now... and there's a report to make bleeding investment with 200 bleeding + haemo instead of just haemo. Otherwise I think its the same old guild you were in when you were still in it. :\\

EDIT: If you come back to the game I don't think you'll find a shortage of people to fight, on either side.

From my logs, it appears that sometimes discordant chord stuns me, sometimes it doesn't. Is there a way to predict whether a stun will happen?

Pretty sure it's based on the # of aurics you've landed; could test it and see.

I thought contort didn't take balance and my logs show it doesn't most of the time. But twice I have contorted and seen:

Your body is too unbalanced to be able to writhe free of the weapon.

Once when crucified and once when pinlegged. Does contort need balance in these situations but not others?
Lendren2009-11-28 01:43:40
Contort and writhe require balance to get free of impalements but not entanglements. (For no really logical reason, apart from making system development needlessly complex.)

So with the influx of Demigods from anyone who has access to an aethership and time... when is the streamlining of demigods coming?

Better to ask now then wait 2-3 weeks when zap-zergs start happening!

Better get right on jumping them!

Also an interesting tidbit, contort balance stacks.

So if, say, you're a coding newb like that dumb tool Merik and forget to add in a check when writhing from transfixation, and then you get transfixed and writhe 22 times in a row before pausing your system, boom off balance for 30 seconds.

Another thing that is unexpected, from reading logs, that it looks like someone can have my left leg pinned twice at one time. I see:

impale left foot
impale left foot
pain in foot means I can't think of anything else
weapon withdraws in a shower of blood
pain in foot means I can't think of anything else
weapon withdraws in a shower of blood
(no more pain in foot)

We believe this? Can have same affliction twice? Does it show up twice in diagnose?
Lendren2009-11-28 15:10:37
The impalement is per weapon, not per foot. This one actually makes sense: why can't someone stick two swords through the same foot?

But yeah, it does make things even more complex to code a system.
Unknown2009-11-28 19:44:03
I wonder if, against multiple warriors, you could get 10+ pins through one foot...

I has an idea. *devious*

Is there a way to know how much is your max aetherwill via something akin to SCORE?

It's the same as will.

Thanks Lendren. And thanks Azoth. I was going to just put in two pinnedleftleg and two pinnedrightleg afflictions in my system but now I see that would fail too, with Azoth's bright idea. And pinleg prevents all other curing and it shares some trigger lines with impale and crucify ... STREAMLINING NEEDED!

Pfff only those with a Masters in C++ deserve to be top-tier, Zallafar.
Esano2009-11-28 23:32:08
I think Treant tracks impales as an integer. Each time you get pinned, it adds 1 to the impaled aff. Each time you writhe (or are rended, or whatever) it subtracts 1. Diag resets it to 0, then increments it as appropriate.

If the way you have your cure queue set up only allows for boolean values to be checked, just have a simple check before you run your curequeue: if impaled > 0 then impaleaff is true else impaleaff is false.
Mirami2009-11-29 01:35:55
if you get robes customized, can you have them restored to their initial prestige or max (trans+shears) prestige?
