What are the advantages to SCRUBbing with golden soap as opposed to rubbing cleanse? Does it have fewer requirements (entangled/paralysis/etc.), or is it just less balance?
Lendren2009-11-17 18:40:31
Less balance.
Llandros2009-11-17 18:42:15
non artifact scrub uses eq since it's an enchantment

Around 6 feet, give or take a few inches.
Llandros2009-11-17 20:49:05
Yeah, it's been my understanding that each point in size is about 6 inches. But individuals can certainly vary from the average height of their race.

Hrm. Ok! thanks

That was mine, too, except that Trill are described as "quite tall", but their size is only 10 points.
Quite tall being a relative term, perhaps, but with many other taller races...
?

I know that helping Jeitara makes it impossible to give birth to Dragon Turtles, but what effect does the counterquest of helping Joiya do?

Kira, move to Seren and read CHELP NOHARDQUESTIONS.

tall and thin.
just like tae'dae have a large size, but aren't supposed to be very tall, but are supposed to be wide.

Can someone explain the difference between $= and $+ in regards to writing zaps? I looked up what a dynamic verb is and it... doesn't really explain anything.

Note: When you begin a sentence with a dynamic verb, use $+ instead of $=

In the config_zap messages, please use these dynamic verbs:
Referring to yourself: $=(caster$), $=(he$), $=(his$), $=(him$)
Referring to target: $=(target$), $=(lhe$), $=(lhis$), $=(lhim$)

EDIT: After a glance at the helpfile, you guys use:
Referring to yourself: $=(caster$), $=(he$), $=(his$), $=(him$)
Referring to target: $=(target$), $=(lhe$), $=(lhis$), $=(lhim$)
consider:
$+(caster$) raises $=(his$) hands above $=(his$) head and sends a bolt of lightning after $=(target$).
Would become:
Ried raises her hands above her head and sends a bolt of lightning after Narsrim.
Consider:
$+(his$) tail between $=(his$) legs, $=(caster$) whimpers before sending a bolt of lightning after $=(target$).
would become:
Her tail between her legs, Ried whimpers before sending a bolt of lightning after Narsrim.
Consider:
You raise your arms to the sky, sending a bolt of lightning after $=(target$), praying for $=(lhis$) death.
Would become:
You raise your arms to the sky, sending a bolt of lightning after Narsrim, praying for his death.
If you did:
$=(his$) arms at $=(his$) side, $=(target$) flees before your bolt of lightning.
It would become:
his arms at his side, Narsrim flees before your bolt of lightning.
Notice the $+ makes its first letter upper case, $= makes it what I'd call 'even' case - if it's an Elder God, it'd be His, if it's a mortal, it'd be his, if it's a Elder Goddess it'd be Hers, etc.
You can also do $+(he$), $(him$), $(him$)self. Stuff like that.

No wonder. I read those as pronouns, and when I checked Wikipedia, I was given dynamic verbs as "play" and "run".
