Collar questions!
1) Does this mean that it will never starve/lose levels... or does it only mean that your pet can't be killed by evil eagle haters?
2) Again, does the second bolded item mean that it will never permanently die from starvation? Or just that it can't be killed permanently by the aforementioned eagle haters? Shame on them.

It will never starve/lose levels, it can still be killed by evil eagle haters.
I belive that collared beasts and pets never get hungry and don't have to be fed. If it somehow dies it won't lose a level much less be killed permanantly.

I've sold them for 6000 gold recently.

Here's a simple question that I'm sure has been asked a million times:
Why can't we implement a blank newline character/command for the newsboard and letters so that there are actual real paragraphs? This has always annoyed me a great deal, and I don't see why we can't have what many of other muds have!

If you mean why can't we stop having wordwrapping in those things, that's a good question, and I am not sure if there's a good answer or not.
If you mean why can't we insert blank lines... we can.

If the question is the latter of Lendren's two points, Sables, you should probably try putting paragraphs in one at a time, and just hitting 'enter' between them. I imagine your client (like mine) deletes extra lines if you just copy/paste.
Real men improv anyways.

And the result is massive amounts of blinding gold and ivory text that not only sear the retinas but the optic nerve and occipital lobe as well.

Well, I'm talking about when viewing posts, too.... So, if these mythical linebreaks exist, can someone reference me a public post or the like where the text goes:

Subj: Revolt chart
Our CLHELP REVOLTCHART has been, sadly, lacking since it was abandoned
many decades ago. I was recently asked to catalog the revolts from the
news section, and in doing so have also come up with the following
tentative schedule for the next five revolts, assuming something odd
doesn't occur.
Bear in mind these are only tentative predictions, and once the next
revolt does occur I'll be able to adjust the others where needed.
Revolt Earliest Latest
Orc-Furrikin Shanthin 244 Urlachmar 245
Hemp Wars Avechary 245 Klangiary 245
Mountain Wars Estar 246 Dioni 246
Dairuchi Tzarin 246 Shanthin 246

Is there another historical significance behind "Ae for the intellectually impaired" by the Scribe of the Elder Gods that I'm missing by not seeing anything else in the library referring to it or the 'sacrosanct language'?
Whatever the case, I found it terribly amusing.

The words of the scroll have no effect on you.
Can this be caused by something besides not having scroll balance? I got this from reading a Scroll of Healing after seeing the "You may be healed by a scroll again." message. I suppose it could have been an illusion...

Obviously my client has been removing the blank lines since I started playing Lusternia... do you know how annoying it is to look at smooshed text!? Now I have to figure out how to fix this...

The four most recent posts, 1275-1278, all have blank lines between paragraphs. (That's as far back as I checked.)

I use Mushclient, and for some reason it removes all text on a line that is after a <, or between a < and a >. I don't know why, it's probably something to do with HTML formatting screwing up.
