if you decide not to pay 200,000 for a shop sign, do people instead see the "SHOPKEEPER: you can pay..." sign? or is that just me?

Somewhat sure only the shopkeeper can see that.

If it is cast for your demesne, it
will only affect the region of your demesne where you stand, but as
you move throughout different areas of your demesne, it will shift
areas with you.

So does this mean it only affects the room in which you stand, or the same area (to illustrate, if I had a meld that spread through Acknor and onto the highway, and I was standing on the highway, would it only affect those in the highway or just the room I was standing in?)

Um...I hope that made sense.

The second. Only the area you're currently in. (highway) not into Acknor. I believe.

If someone were to get 10 divorces...would a special honors line be given to them that was semi-insulting yet still a feat of strength for having such resilience and luck through bad relationships?

Those effects only go off in the area you are in if they are active.

As you move through your meld, it follows you area-to-area. So yeah, it'd go off on the highway but not acknor if you were on the highway.

It is so, then. I know there are some, like Hailstone, that, as far as I'm aware, only activate in the ROOM you are currently in (Unless I'm horribly, HORRIBLY misinformed) But follow you from room to room if you AQUACAST DEMESNE.

Yes, Hailstorm and Boulderblast are only room attacks, hit personal enemies.

For more information on how you can use Bound Credits, read HELP LESSONS, HELP
ARTIFACTS, HELP JEWELLERY, HELP TAILORING, HELP CUSTOMISATIONS, and HELP
HOUSING.

Aside from almost requiring credits to finish them, what do jewelry and tailoring have to do with credits, bound or otherwise..?

That's a legacy thing. In Achaea, tailoring and jewelry are miniskills purchased for about 100cr each.
