If you marry someone and start a family can you then bloodbond with someone who has rejected their family and bring them in as part of the progenitor generation?

Question, though: Where are some good higher-level places to influence? My normal rounds include a handful of Celest mobs, Tosha and Illithoid if I'm not bored yet. The problem is that while plentiful, the per-influence-attack esteem gained from illithoid is pretty low. (or the dullness of it makes it seem that way, maybe? Hehe)

So, anyway. Suggestions for somewhat better places to influence? Begging is preferrable(Yay gold), but I'm mostly going for esteem.

Those are much lower, so only really worthwhile if you automate it in my opinion. Which I'm not going to do

If you want to pick just one hive in the UV and you're more interested in raw esteem, do the main complex and focus on the kephera monks. Why you would influence illithoid over kephera when you'd rather be begging is beyond me.

Cool, I'll try that. I always assumed they were going to be at the same level as Illithoid though, hehe.

Edit: Back in the day, I weakened Illithoid for city members to come through and gank the whole place quickly before Mags could get them. Just got into the habit.
