I thought armor stats (plate/helm/robes/shield) played a part in reducing physical damage. Seperate from DMP but possibly still a reduction.
Wait... if they don't, then what do they do?

They are DMP, but they also reduce damage by a varying amount in PVE as well. I belive robes are 10% and Field Plate is 25%
Shiri2009-08-22 18:38:06
They're not DMP.

More stats means people do less wounding to you as well.

Is Schurida a first name, or last name?
If it's a last name, Dibs.
If it's a last name, Dibs.

I thought I saw a post on this one time, but can't find it. Does the critical strike rune have any effect on turret critical chance?

Only Aethership turret artifacts will effect the crit rate of a turret.

Is the benefit to learning acrobatics just the individual abilities within, or is there something based on skill rank in the skill itself? Perhaps some of the abilities are more effective with rank, or it affects my ability to dodge attacks or whatever?
I've stopped learning at highjump, which seems a reasonable place to stop based on only looking at the abilities themselves, but if there is more to the skillset than just the abilities, I may reconsider.

The more you learn the more often you will dodge attacks

Last I checked, it would be worth getting Hyperactive or whatever even if you got nothing else. You can really pwn faces with that.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not sure hyperactive is useful for a bard. It would probably combine pretty well with berserkfetish if it didn't cost 10p.
Dodging, however, is probably important to me, being faeling. So thanks again for the quick replies.

Actually I'm fairly sure the standard critical hit runes affect aetherbashing; there is no diamonut that affects criticals, only speed and damage.

Critical Hit Runes:
- These runes allow you to get extra critical hits when bashing.
Level 50 persons get critical hits about 1.6% of the time; at level
65 this rises to 6.4%, and at level 80 it rises to 16.6%.
- This bonus includes aethership bashing, but will only be applicable
if you are specialised as a Combateer (and thus capable of getting
critical hits).

Do bannerhouses get any benefit from pledging to a greathouse, or is it only the great house that benefits?

What with there being no such thing as "specialised as a Combateer" anymore, I wonder if this still applies.

In Cmud, what's the best way to make a real function? ie, I want to make a single block of code that performs a function, and be able to call it, feed it, and get the result within other aliases and triggers.
Edit: I know this can be done in a way with aliases, to be clear. I'm just wondering if there's a better way, as doing it that way is bulky and annoying.

Fairly sure it does, as you can still get aetherbashing crits, and that's what it was referring to - it doesn't give you the ability to get crits, just enhances an existing one.

Write a function.
The 'new' button you click to create new aliases, triggers etc - also lets you create functions.
You access them with @funcname()
