NMBG is more memory than custom these days, but I think the worst that'll happen if you try it is receiving utter silence over CT.
Which is pretty funny in its own way when it happens.

But only to the people who remember how it used to be.

Let's assume that I'm a demigod bonecrusher ur'guard with trans guild skills and whatever else.
Now, which race would be good for this? Right now I'm thinking Human, Viscanti, Taurian, or Krokani.
Viscanti would make sense in an RP fashion, but I'm not sure how well it would go down stats-wise.

It's hard to go wrong with human at 95+.

Viscanti ur'guard with necromancy can get omgwtfPhysresistance though. The stats difference from lv 95 human isn't all that big, either.

I wasn't aware that warriors were lacking in the physical resistance department. Also, the relative stat equality comes saddled with a sip malus. It's not as horrible as most viscanti will tell you it is, but it's a real penalty.
Damadreas2009-08-20 21:55:30
I'd say as far as human is concerned that people often overlook how nice -not- having any weakness really could be. Balanced stats generally, no weakness. human is always a safe choice obviously.
But I'd go Krokani if you're not much for Human.

Is there some sneaky formula that's used to calculate instrument aptitude? My lyre decayed while I was dormant and I've been sitting here playing a bunch of musical stuff on the new instrument and it gave me 1% at the start and nothing for like 20 mins now. :/
Only works once per day I belive.

Warriors kind of lack in the anything resistance department, but they make up for it with a huge health bar. Heck, a clothie with a shield has better physical resistance than a warrior.

This new area in Glomdoring I keep hearing about, what exactly does it do? And how is the crown of Ebonwhatsit different than it already was?

It sits there.
It doesn't tend to move around much. It's a lazy area.

It's basically "Hey guys, now there's an extra multiple-hour step to get the Crown so you can raise Crow / raise the drums". But it does give some power and it is kind of neat, so.

I have almost no resistance to anything. It's kind of sad.

Was told that experiance was now differant depending on what module you use, anyone got a list of which module gives how of an experiance boost?
Esano2009-08-22 04:01:50
Pilot/turret/empath give full experience. Collector gives half. Not sure what cloaking module (you can lock into that, right?) gives, if anything.
Ronny2009-08-22 11:05:50
I thought armor stats (plate/helm/robes/shield) played a part in reducing physical damage. Seperate from DMP but possibly still a reduction.
