Well, you can kill the Earth/Tide Lords to stop the circles from forming, or kill Maeve, or do the Rite quest before we kiil Gwyllgi. Or Serenwilde could raid and kill Gwyllgi before Magnagora can raid and Gwyllgi. Magnagora considered doing the same on the Supernals to stop the Rite.

Does the vitae effect persist through logging out?

Is there some sneaky formula that's used to calculate instrument aptitude? My lyre decayed while I was dormant and I've been sitting here playing a bunch of musical stuff on the new instrument and it gave me 1% at the start and nothing for like 20 mins now. :/
