Anyone know if the great rune of enchantment will go on a staff? Or do I need the great rune of superior enchantment?

I've been looking for the rune of enchantment in the helpfiles to quote it for you, however I am either blind or it's been lossed in the shuffling. That said - the rune of enchantment goes on jewelry, the superior enchantment rune goes only on staffs/cudgels/athames/instruments/symbols.

Snap, was hoping since the staff could be enchanted (I think) that it might count as jewelry, curse you!

Now someone lend me 100 extra credits? Please?

The staff can only be enchanted once it has a Superior Enchantment rune put upon it - no other shall suffice!

These requests need to be handed by artifacts@lusternia.com anyways - we patrons don't handle them IG anymore. That's a legacy file.

I dun have a patron do I? Was asking about how long it'd take for it to be handled by email, do occasionally hear stories of it taking AGES and the staff has 10 months on it, wanna know if I should do this or go for gripping rune.

You will need both if I remember correctly. Someone feel free to correct me.

I'm not sure if you can pay for staffs to be resetting/permanent, except by attaching a rune. Artifacts@lusternia.com will be able to give you a specific answer - though I can't promise you'll get a response before monday or so.

It was possible prior to the runes being implemented, at least. People customized their cudgels / staves and also had them set to reset / permanent. I've not heard of a specific policy shift to not allow that any more, but given that a gripping rune is the exact same cost as the resetting...

Was it? For some reason I thought contrary. Like I said, I'm not sure! It's not something I handle. e-mailing Support is the best course of action.

It is still possible to make it both permanent and resetting for 50 credits each. Doesn't make much sense to me, but there you go.
