I've got one. Is there a better way to regenerate willpower other than meditating? Dreambodying in the guildhall suddenly went horribly wrong, and when you don't know bodysnap, well, what else can you do but go around to other org's nexii and yell things that no one will hear?

Campfires, rocking chairs, and willpower gems in manses all will regeneration your willpower faster than just meditating.
Karel2009-08-07 16:01:25
Now it's a matter of finding some, then. Any public manses have any of these delightful amenities? And how significant is it?

Campfires are noticable, they regenerate an amount on each tick. Orbs and chairs are passive.

You'd have to ask your city about the orbs and rocking chairs. Most caster guilds keep some in their guild hall.

Edit: Be sure to actually ROCK CHAIR after you sit on it.

Out of curiousity, and trying to rock in a chair that I could rock, sure enough, Karel isn't as musically inclined as I.

ROCK LUTE
You cannot rock that.

Ha!

Thank you, Everiine.

There are other ways, Celestians can bathe in the font once a day, I think the chessboard in mag might do something but I'm not sure. I also think they have yet to fix that if you die in the arena you go back to full willpower.
Kiradawea2009-08-07 18:26:09
And if you're Celestian you can ask (nicely) for someone to chant benedicition for you. Benediction ticks somewhere between 8-10 times and gives some defenses or recovery of health, mana, willpower and endurance. The willpower tick is around 500 I believe. If you're NOT Celestian you can still ask a Celestian for it, but it'll be more difficult to find one willing to chant for you.

Guardians manipulate the fabric of space to use their basic magic, and you do the same thing in Planar...logically the two are simply different applications of the same school...right?
Kiradawea2009-08-07 18:41:31
No. Planar is like High School Physics, while Cosmic is CERN level physics.
Karel2009-08-07 18:43:01
So it would seem. Except Guardians use stuff from their own respective Planes. Planar uses stuff from...aetherspace?

Also, what Kiradawea said.

Toronada Title flats. Everything but crabs. Crabs if you have mending and know how to heal.

Rockeaters in the mountains.

Gather pilgrims/bards/scholars.
Kiradawea2009-08-07 18:51:52
Nexus world creatures. At least the two weakest kinds.
Karel2009-08-07 18:57:19
And, for me at least (I'm pretty good at hit-and-run), Elemental crap, first tier. Starsuckers and grubs.
Kiradawea2009-08-07 18:59:49
Change that to leeches, and only if you have insomnia. Otherwise it isn't worth it. You'll also need mending for starsuckers.
Karel2009-08-07 19:12:17
Well, I do Earth more often. I've only done Water once or twice, so. Sorry if I forgot. Suckers and leeches are pretty similar in concept anyway. And thus easier to confuse as opposed to a little grub versus A WYRM OMG DRAGUN.
Kiradawea2009-08-07 19:18:47
Yeah, but one makes you sleep. The other breaks your limbs and has a super-attack that deals 1.5k damage, hence the need for clarification. tongue.gif

Nyyyeeeeh, two different skills. Therefore, differentiated by more then just the level of knowledge involved.
Karel2009-08-07 19:45:18
Apples and oranges.

Or, you know, cosmic planes and Aetherspace. You choose.

Planar's been around for a lot longer then Aetherspace...
