You can find piano and drums on bardic stages though, can't you? (By that I mean, go make a play.)

No, and no. However, if you whore it you might raise an eyebrow or two.

And you are only allowed to use Shield Smash if you yell "Shiiiieeeeeld SMASH!!" every time you use it.

"BONECRUSHER - SHIELDSMASH

Syntax: SHIELDSMASH
This does no damage against an opponent, but is aimed to splinter and destroy his or her shield."

Dick move, a good shield takes a while, and a decent penny to make.

What does poison damage? Are there any poisons that do poison damage?

Poisons do not. Poison damage comes from things like Geomancers and a fair variety of Undervault critters.

What is "fragrance" in shop wares? It's not specified as a certain kind of fragrance, just "fragrance."

It's technically an alcohol, or just a drink in general

Per Estarra, the only instruments we can have are those which can play intervals while you're singing and walking around, and which fit into the existing Lusternia cultures as she sees them, and which would appeal to a lot of people. In practice, every attempt to add to the five we have has gone nowhere, so we might as well get used to it.

I'd cast my vote for the hurdygurdy as one.

Anyway, as to my question: What do lessons in the Magic skill do for you?

Reduce magic type (not magic source) damage by (lessons invested / 1715) * 33%.

It was envoyed a while ago and should not actually destroy shields now, just make them unwieldable until fixed.

You could try bugging that the AB isn't updated.

A while ago meaning at least 2 years. Man, I remember when people whined on the forums when Ethelon was smashing shields left and right... those were the days!
Kante2009-08-06 23:51:43
Sweet. I'm SO going to whore that, so long as it doesn't take too many strikes to bust'em up.
Razenth2009-08-06 23:53:39
If I have an idea for a Celest RP event that would require Divine assistance, where would I make my idea known?
Everiine2009-08-07 00:03:53
I'd say Plot boards, or message the Divine directly if it is something small.
Razenth2009-08-07 00:33:58
Does influencing a denizen give more exp than killing it?
Everiine2009-08-07 00:52:18
I think it gives about the same amount.
Llandros2009-08-07 01:00:44
Empowering and weakening change the xp you get for killing the mob, more for an empowered one and less for a weakened one.

Sounds like a simple question, doesn't it? The demigods seem to say yes, but not by a fixed amount. The numbers range from practically the same to 150% more. It's possible that there's only minimal correlation between kill xp and influence xp.

Personally, I'm not going to get enemied to Tosha to check, and my Mag alt isn't big enough to survive the cave-fisher gauntlet to try kephera.

It was 150% for me every time on the things I influenced and then killed, as I recall. The issue was there there are some NPCs who are stronger than others (though being of the same type of creature, they are worth different essence because they are different levels), and different people having different experience bonuses.

Also, if you weaken / empower them, the numbers will be off.
