No no, that's fine, I'm not saying you should have known beforehand. It's just I know why you're asking now and it's really funny for some reason.

I still get "wtf?" tells every time my trips to the Ethereal plane go horribly, horribly wrong

No, they nerfed the hell out of that. Blame Serenwilde Celest Glomdoring Munsia someone random.
FK Now im stuck with pilgrims bards ect... Leveling at circle 18 is kinda awkward... I need cheap lvling

How badly was it nerfed?

Dragons usually kill most ships in two hits, can't fire over voids anymore,
Esano2009-08-06 07:00:15
They're readjusting aetherspace experience, but I don't think that's been implemented in the main game yet (just the test server). In the main game, you'll have a lot of trouble finding people to aetherbash with you. It might be decent for you (not sure) but it'll be horrible for most other people.

You're doing something wrong if you're having problems leveling at 18. Stick to Newton and kill/influence things. Just sleep/meditate the stuff you lose back and bam, free and easy curing.
And it wasn't nerfed so much as everything else just speeded up to the point that you can't keep up with the damage output the bigger critters were doing. With the aetherspace committee doing its job to bring aethercraft up to the speed that they tweaked the creatures to, it shouldn't be a problem soon. Not to mention the experience being tweaked to balance the entire hunting mechanic out so that people aren't popping out demis in a week which took someone else other than those who 'benefitted' from this to report and get looked at.

Yes, Shaddus seems to have a selective memory. Magnagorans abused it. Celestians and Serens tested it to accurately report what needed to be fixed.
Lendren2009-08-06 10:57:28
I think he was doing that on purpose. It's like rain on your wedding day, and all that.
Joli2009-08-06 14:38:50
Is there any sort of thing that I can attach my violin to? Like a strap or something. I want one so I don't have to wield it all the time.
And are there pianos in game? If not, there should be.

If by abused, you mean we found it first and the rest of the Basin got pissed because we used what we found, then yes.
Shiri2009-08-06 14:49:59
If by "found it first" you mean "found it before anyone else did", then yes. (Hey, why leave any ambiguity?)

Only in Mag, Shaddus. Only in Mag.

Enchanted and proofed greatrobes are superior to batted leather armor.
Alright. I knew that was the case, but doesn't anyone know the current differences between greatrobes and a full set of leather armour (batted even if it is only the vest)? I am talking in terms of both cutting/blunt and the proofings.

The proofings are the same as regular great robes. The protection varies more widely than robes, but averages somewhere around 35/35-40/40. It is still a highly discouraged idea because a proofed leather vest is way more expensive than any set of robes.

Per Estarra, the only instruments we can have are those which can play intervals while you're singing and walking around, and which fit into the existing Lusternia cultures as she sees them, and which would appeal to a lot of people. In practice, every attempt to add to the five we have has gone nowhere, so we might as well get used to it.

What about horns? There is a trumpet in there? >_> I don't want it to use for skills, obviously.

With the introduction of tinkering, horns, watches, and music boxes were added. Horns can be enchanted but aren't functional as bard instuments.
