With the ToyMaker event and all the conflict, why are you bored? It might be easier to answer your question if we knew that.

Thank you. I have 27 messages now that I believe indicate stupidity and I am wondering if new ones just keep being added. Yes, I am pulling my hair to vent my frustration at how hard it is to track everything!
Stupidity makes you do random emotes.

So there are more than 351 (the length of EMOTIONLIST for me) possible stupidity messages. I'm not going to have any hair left at all.

Would be better to put the actual affliction line in, not what stupidity makes you do. Stupidity makes you do -a lot- of random crap.

I expect you to at least stay in Glom.

I do have 5 different triggers that indicate that I have just contracted stupidity. What I use the "I like cheese" etc. messages for is to note that one of my other commands was ignored. If it was a cure action that got ignored, like eating an herb, then I know to restart that cure right away instead of waiting for a timeout, and I know that I didn't actually lose herb balance or whatever.
But I had no idea there were 350+ such messages, so maybe that's not such a good plan. Though there do seem to be a few (like the cheese one) that happen a lot more than others. Maybe I can just trigger off the common ones.

In the future, read the help files, but since I'm in a good mood.
Damage and a random mental afflicton
Equillibrium loss
Mana Drain

You can prevent the yelling ones by turning yells off.

OK-- can anyone explain to me the origins of the Spirit Plane, or where it sits next to the other planes? Is it considered "Off Prime," or does it run parallel?

Meh. I've kind of been getting a "I'm glad you left" vibe from Celest.

That picture is organized opposite how most people think of it. The Spirit Plane is one plane "below" Prime, or one plane in the opposite direction of Astral.
Richter2009-07-30 02:36:01
I think of the planes like an onion.
Arak2009-07-30 05:51:15
So, anyone have a list of which afflictions phantom can give?
Unknown2009-07-30 06:16:12
I think of the planes as a series of blobs on a non-euclidean 5d hyper-cylinder.

Ever read Flatland?
Apparently you can read it online here: http://www.ibiblio.org/eldritch/eaa/FL.HTM

What are the effects of the Xion initiative? I know that we get 3 extra power when essence is turned in (underwhelming). I'm curious if there's anything else. I know that it doesn't affect the power generated from influencing angels, at least not from what I see on the power-logs.

Xion Initiative Effects on the communes:
- meldable Ethereal
- cannot bind fae
- no Daughters are summoned (except for the two at each Avatar)
Nifilhema's Plan Effects on the communes:
- Maeve, Laeroc, and the honour guard are loyal to Nil
- tainted fae
