That's not true, or if it is it's new, there used to be (or still is, haven't checked in a while) a painting between Dreymos (Sylvanis's) and Roost (Kialkarkeas) manses.

There are carpets but you can't use the SIT ON verb for them, only on chairs, swings, beds, hammocks, couches, and benches. As it happens, I have a bed design that is nothing but cushions scattered as desired on the floor, though.
