Not all that hard to raise. Standard "search for the parts and collect corpses" quest. The longer she's left up, the wider a range her voice gets and the stronger she gets (in her strongest state not even all 4 orgs working together can kill her, the Admin had to make a quest to weaken her again for us, heh). The voice will eventually cover all the mountain ranges and whenever someone hears it, they lose power.

Intriguing. How much power are we talking about, like a few % at a time?

When you have a weapon customized, does it still bear the line "It bears the distinctive mark of..." OR something else?

Last I experienced it, the % drained scaled up.

The quest to raise her certainly isn't that easy. Some of the parts (last time I did it) take hours to respawn if you guess them wrong (the priestesses won't give them back), the corpses on their own don't provide nearly enough clues (They give you 4 of 5 songs, for example, you have to guess the fifth!) and last time I did it I lost experience for every wrong guess. And there were a lot of wrong guesses.

I personally love everything about the quest. The puzzle is one which I've always enjoyed and the fact that she affects everyone equally means she won't greef everyone except the quester. Added on top of that the LoR-esque shout and the even better honours line is just .

Oh, and..uhh..question...uhhh. Oh, right. I've had someone say that Magictome gives 10DMP to those damage types. Anyone else know if this is right/wrong?

If you have an aetherspace fetish and expect to be getting into aetherfights on a daily basis, sure.

Otherwise, no, don't delude yourself into thinking it's remotely useful.

I'm not sure it's automatic; I usually request it, and they toss it in for no extra charge.



The rumor mill points to yes. There's a group of players working on making aetherspace more awesome, as we speak.

Really? I've never asked for it and that's what happened on each of my customisation jobs. Perhaps you set the standard if they didn't always used to do that.

@Richter/Vendetta: yep, I got mine without asking.

@Shaddus/Xenthos: also, last time we let her get too tough to easily kill, the admin got pissed and sent annoying mobs to hassle the orgs until we got rid of her. That rarely happens now though since people just team up and kill her fast.

I love aetherspace, I would say it is useful (maybe not as something as other skills, but still useful)
