Does anyone have a really easy way to check if a binary number is divsible by seven?

Convert binary to decimal and then do mod 7 on it? If the result is 0 it is divisible by 7.
Razenth2009-07-05 00:32:27
Heh, that is easy, I'll grant you that. Unfortunately I can't use it in what I need to do, but no worries; I think I got it figured out.

For what it's worth, I ran a few iterations through this and didn't see any patterns. Conversion or straight binary math seem to be your only options.

Stupid Question: HOW DO YOU PEOPLE DEAL WITH THE DAMN BATTLE SPAM, ESPECIALLY THE DEMESNE ONES!!!! blackeye.gif

You either learn to gag it, or you tune it out with highlights on the important stuff and system working to grab cures that you can't see.

I cured semi-manually for a fairly long time without highlights and such, and found it to be pretty easy, as long as you go in prepared.

1) Know who you're fighting. Tactics tend to be fairly uniform, and you need to know what to prepare for.
2) Know what their skills do. Nothing could be more important, really. You don't need to read the stuff in the demesne spam, you just need to know that you got hit with a aqua/geo/druid demesne.
3) Stop reading. You don't have time for that nonsense. All you need are the first few words and the general size of the output line. Only practice helps here.

I read really REALLY fast. I don't get it all, but little snips and snaps and important bits jump out at me.

Does anyone have all of Globglob's messages from each Nexus? I've seen the Celest and Mag ones (too many times to count, I might add), but I'd to see what the forestals get when Globglob is around.
Aerotan2009-07-05 21:11:47
Do his messages change based on who raises it? I know at least one of the Celest ones mentions the Taint, but I just always figured it was for when Mag raised it.

An irritating voice pierces the aether as Globglob Mesherbrub says, "We have juuuust heard this from a very reliable source, Serenwilde! Mother Moon and the White Hart seek only to keep the truth hidden from you. Follow Us and the mysteries of the world will be revealed!"

An irritating voice pierces the aether as Globglob Mesherbrub says, "The Serenwilde puts too much faith in the cold moon and an overfed deer. Can you not see, Serenwilde!? The substandard wisdom of these spirits will lead you nowhere. The forest is doomed to oblivion if it does not submit to Our will!"

An irritating voice pierces the aether as Globglob Mesherbrub says, "Forget the Spirits and forests, Serenwilde! The true path to the restoration of the Basin lies with Us!"

I like the "overfed deer" bit!

What should a level 95 human warriors strength be 15 or 16?

(Mines 15 but think it should be 16)

Yes, but is that accurate and my strength bugged or should it be 15 str?
Xiel2009-07-06 06:46:18
The numbers I received for that came from the folk I poked personally for. If something is mistaken, I'd appreciate if I were notified so that I might rectify the calculations, please! -twiddle-

While the end stats for humans are the same, you gain each one randomly. One human warrior may get strength at 95, another may get con. You aren't bugged.
Esano2009-07-06 08:16:25
I (and it seems, most people) were under the impression that evolution stopped at level 95, though, and you didn't get an extra point at 100. Thus, at level 95, he should have reached his cap for strength, regardless of how he got there.

Simple question:

Why do Thoros and co wait for everyone to sleep before they attack?
Lendren2009-07-06 10:37:20
Tactical advantage. Everyone (who does those kinds of raids) does it sometimes.
