I was told that normally the mafia kills off people in such a way as to verify the least amount of information. That is, people who don't talk get killed so that the town is no more knowledgeable then they were the day before.

Its just something I've noticed from these games.

I'm confused. Did the mafia kill two people last night? Or did they get Bali and Forren managed to get out of the cathedral on his own?

To go play with the screaming maniac outside? All I know is that the last game I did, people that just "disappeared" could come back under certain circumstances but dead people were really dead.

Of course, that doesn't really, necessarily mean anything in relation to Saran's game, but it's an interesting thing to think about. If anyone has a role that vaguely talks about helping/rescuing/aiding/searching/finding/recovering people, you might want to try it on Forren tonight.

I'm not sure I like Daganev's reasoning that mafia would have killed lurkers. A smart mafia would leave them alive, I'd think, and target people who are actually threatening them.

Then again, someone who is silent and dies never has a chance to be anything but silent. I dunno.

I'd say that Bali was anything but a lurker, and she died. So maybe mafia is targetting very noisy people that look a loot like town to intimidate people into not talking?

This would be a very strange game indeed if the mafia were simply not allowed to talk.
