I do 312 damage to Telrath with a single strike, and he wears robe armor. I have 19 strength, I fail to see why I am not doing more than what a newbie guardian/mage can do with a basic bashing attack and over 15 base intelligence.
Warriors don't need to be nerfed more, you guardian/mages are so hax0r with your complainz0rs.

Only low level ones who have huge racial disadvantages, who also do not know how to use the web enchantment.
Edit: Know that I agree that buffs need a nerf, and TF's should be limited more, but this is most definately not the way to go about it. I'm sure the envoys are on the problem already.

It was complained about already, but the envoy I talked to said it probably wouldn't be listened to.

Yes, it seems nature curse was slightly improved with the rework of those various magical attacks. A 18int trans wiccian can kill a hulking green weevil in 1 hit rather then 2 now.

Sylphas2006-06-16 22:39:58
I don't see the problem. If warriors are as bad as you say, they can now be upgraded and have a higher base effectiveness, instead of having to maintain every buff possible to do so.
Ixion2006-06-16 22:40:31
Read my first post. Thank you.
The other stat (non-str) changes affect warriors about as much, however intel isn't as important to others as str is to a warrior. By decreasing stats, warrior are impacted much more heavily. I can break it down to you piece by piece, and archetype by archetype, but you should be able to figure out without much difficulty.

So now being a Titan with a truefavour means nothing...*sigh* I guess it wasn't worth all that effort after all
Soll2006-06-16 22:48:33
Statistic wise, perhaps. You still have a plethora of cool abilities that mortals do not. Titan is not all about the good stats. Please don't forget that, and let it become some entirely PK oriented position.

Is there a way to nerf buffs without reducing their effectiveness (like this did)? Isn't that what "nerf" means? Unless you mean nerf everyone's buffs but yours.

Unknown2006-06-16 22:52:01
cept.. you don't always have a true favour..
I think I've had 3 in my whole time in lusternia, coupled with another 3 normal favours.
It's a bit silly that on top of the truefavour that I actually do have at the moment yellow does nothing, but it seems like the system is weighted so that base stats mean more now that most people will only every get a +2 in something.
Maybe this will even out the insanly buffed influencers as well.

Nerfing stats all equally hurts warriors more than everyone else. Read my post again, slower.
I also just noticed that I bought a throne yesterday, to have it -completely- negated today (was 15 buffed before the nerf and throne, and now 15 buffed with both the nerf and the throne) Well well thank you for wasting about 1k comms and 10k gold.

-refresh power
-thunderclap that everyone is trying to trash...woo
Soll2006-06-16 22:55:02
What Charisma buffs do you have? +2 should always mean atleast +1 to a stat.

Yes, it hurts warriors more. Now they go in and fix warriors. I don't think anyone has yet said, "This screws warriors, awesome!" Isn't there a whole warrior summit still to come?

I'm rather confident that knights will see some decent upgrades in the near future. Even I'll admit changes have been rough on them lately.
Just out of curiousity, what would you have done to change buffs?
Ixion2006-06-16 22:59:20
No one said warriors were being fixed on the level they need to be, or on any level.
No such thing as a warrior summit.
There's a large difference between rumors and what's actually true.
Edit: Acrune: Alter TF's accordingly, which wouldn't be hard. Time limit, minor stat alteration, etc. Worst case scenario, alter the stat diminishing return ratio to be more fair and unbiased. Remove tosha/cats blessings, nerf certain karma blessings slightly, nerf throne to be random from +1 to +2 (50% random). Nerf the % based buffs in general. I could go on quite a while with ideas.

There is no warrior summit that I know of.

I would think having your con/int/cha level bonus multipled by 103 or 104 would be useful as well. Titan and Demigod are never going to become useless, no matter what tweeks happen to their skills.

Incorrect, capped at +5.

I still don't get what this stat change means, does it affect racial boosts to?
