I just woke up, quiet in the peanut gallery.

EDIT: And I have no idea what Xinemus is on about.

He's pretending to be Scooby Doo.

Though I liked UrbanDictionary's definition of "rooves." *coughs*

I know you arn't supposed to post bugs, but this is just too funny

tumble below
You begin to tumble towards the ground.

You tumble precariously towards the ground.
In the mountains above before the Master Ravenwood Tree.
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth.

You threw yourself at the ground and missed. Everyone knows this is the secret of flight.

What does Airpike do?? I don't have it!! Does this mean I have to actually trans acrobatics now?? >.>
Shamarah2008-01-08 02:57:06
Don't worry, it sucks. Spend 3p (or 1p if you can fly naturally) for a barrelroll where you can turn in the middle, except you actually pass through the middle room so you hit stuff like totems unlike with barrelroll.

Maybe the passing through the middle room is a bug?

Yay to being able to RUB ENCHANTMENTNAME!

No more memorizing 20 differnet ID numbers!

It's not.

Then what's the point? Couldn't you just "walk n;walk e"?
Shiri2008-01-08 03:27:29
I assume you can do it in tumble conditions?
Xavius2008-01-08 03:29:43
It was originally suggested as a replacement for barrelroll. I assume it'd have the same restrictions as that.

Hey admins, could you change it so we can wear/remove enchants by name? Be helpful for people like me who use lots of bracelets *hope*

Please also make using "wares mercy" work as well... would make shoping few enchants a lot easier. dribble.gif

Subj: Monk Changes

Some changes around monks:
+ The first kata form will occur faster than it had before, but
subsequent forms will be a little slower.
+ Kata terminate's balance loss has been greatly reduced.
+ Break and stun cost more ka.
+ Punch does less wounding.
+ Razing modifiers (skive et al) cost more ka, but they do not slow the
attack at all. The attack will go the same speed as without the
modifier.
+ Added new stand-alone razing skill in Kata. It's primarily meant for
use outside Kata forms.
+ There is messaging when you get a rupture for the victim and the
attacker.
+ Healing scrolls cure a random rupture.
+ It is much more difficult to disrupt a kata form from completing now.
A few examples... If stunned, the form will wait until both balance and
stun are recovered and then continue to the next form. If an arm is
broken, that arm's attack will fail but all the rest in the form will
fire and the remaining forms will be carried out. Etc.

Ok, where are those monk envoys? You kept saying they were getting fixed, not MORE POWERFULL!!!!!!
Unknown2008-01-11 01:15:18
My draw dropped when I read this. The long awaited monk changes, the countless posts and threads about monks needing to be fixed, the hours of crying, the monitors broken and the keyboards smashed...

And now their kata is even harder to screw up.

I have to say I completely agree with you. I, and I know several others, and wondering if this is a really early april fool's joke....
Shiri2008-01-11 01:20:10
On the plus side, we can't effectively use break or stun mods now even if they're still broken!
Daganev2008-01-11 01:20:30
So whats the process to finding new envoys?
Estarra2008-01-11 01:27:43
These changes were from a monk summit held by the monk committee members (5 members chosen by the city/commune who are not necessarily monks) and not envoys, wherein we vetted the main issues and worked together for solutions. I'd suggest before concluding that monks are "MORE POWEFUL" that you first experience what overall monk combat is now like before rushing to judgment. If needed, we will revisit monks again but certainly not before we see how things work out now.
