They don't have to do that, but many people do as a courtesy and because they're more interested in protecting their material than retribution.

Anything that anyone creates is de facto intellectual property and copyrighted, and you can be legally prosecuted for using or modifying it if they have not given permission to do so. Now, the likelihood of this happening is a different story altogether.

Yeah I will put something in the buttonname, to cover my base. Thanks Mitbulls, the rest of you smile.gif and thanks to Kromsh he hooked me up with a real nice jpg to bmp converter that keeps the pic just as nice. I figure those parts will be the last thing to place in, but I want a new look to it somewhat.

Wasn't it nerfed from 400 to 100, then straight to 20? I think I'll go look that up.

I remember a demesne that spanned the whole of Paavik with the only breakpoint somewhere in Glom (or Seren, that's the problem with guildhopping)-guards or something like that. Old times!

Ok, so, the first demesne size downgrade happened 6/17/2005, the size wasn't mentioned in the announce, and no one on the forums made a post about demesnes for the entire month of June. I think that bit of trivia is lost forever.
