Did we ever get a conclusive report on the karma mantra deal? I remember originally thinking that it only made sense if the monk had a higher karma than the victim, but some people were saying that it was the absolute value of the difference. Which was right?
(I was pestering Shiri about this on IRC a long while ago, but I never got an answer.)

Choke was envoyed to go with that. Choke was the reason the suggestion was made. Then, the report got submitted, and we got this nifty post saying that they couldn't do choke because of the way shadows were coded, but they'd go ahead and do the rest of those.

I had only heard it was envoyed to fade upon the death of the castor and that's when the shadow code problem came up. I didn't know that there was also an elevation change envoyed.

I agree. With these changes it's impossible alltogether to raid Glom aspects now. It was icky when there was the totem alone, it became annoying with the elevation bug, a suicide with the elevation -fix-* and now it's simply a death sentence to even attempt it.
All the other aspect entrances of the cities and communes are in neutral locations, away from guards and totems / statues. I'm aware that the feather is in the Ravenwood as it counts as Crow's Nest, however it's really not feasible to keep it there any longer.
I'd prefer if the nest was simply moved into a more neutral GlomEth room, preferably -not- above a Night Avatar either or one room away from them or guards. We all know the barge, tackle etc tactics.. just put it on par with every other nation please.
* Since the 'fix' was more a misunderstanding which lead to it being bugged worse than before.

Eliminating guard killing seems like a bad decision, imo.
EDIT: And don't say it wasn't eliminated, thats obvious. It's just extremely hard now to kill guards. Silly.
