Excellent changes, although I would've liked Epilepsy instead of Scabies.

Scabies in Choke should still prove to be nice (with Blacklung! biggrin.gif)

pshh choke already serves as the best defensive tool around, it's better than every nexus power. especially since etherglom can't be melded.

Your bards can already give enemies epilepsy in choke. Bring us along.

TRACKING
--------
- All hunting companions will now be harder to kill. This will only
affect those hounds requested from this point forward.

Not quite what I had in mind, but I know there are difficulties in coding the things for which I did ask.

You're welcome, Amarok. smile.gif

Spawn doesn't really do much bleeding. sad.gif 40 bleeding at most, one time it went up to 80 but with kingdom it never got higher than 80, and it went up to 80 after I let it beat on me for 5 minutes.
Unknown2007-07-04 21:09:24
Last time I tried spawn (quite a long time ago though), it was doing little damage but hit every 5 seconds. Adding some (even minor) bleeding and lowering the power cost to 2 should make it alright.

Spawn hits me for 100 damage and 40 bleeding every 8-12 seconds (random timer)

What did you ask for? And also, I thought companions were made to be uncrittable.... so why are hounds/retrievers/wolves getting hit by crit hits still?

I don't know how much tougher they are since they die to a WSC hit when we were trying to test it

I asked for the health of the animal to increase with the level of the master OR for there to be damage reduction for the animal that scales with the level of the master. Giving them more health across the board is a lot simpler, and I don't blame them for choosing that instead.

All mobs will always be affected by critical hits, except for the super mobs that we need to die to in large groups over and over again...

YAY!

Although..haven't tested the exact extent of this, but anything that helps the companions, (thereby helping the Tracker) is always good in my book!

Thanks

I believe angels and demons are also crit-immune.

I don't think they are.
Shamarah2007-07-06 18:35:07
They are.
Unknown2007-07-06 18:37:38
The angels and demons that are summoned? Or the ones on Celestia and Nil? Unless it's changed in the last few months, they're not crit-immune.
Shamarah2007-07-06 19:08:28
Summoned angels and demons are crit-immune, unless I'm remembering wrong from my time as a Celestine.
Unknown2007-07-06 19:11:58

The tracking upgrade means crap when they can still be hit by crits. I killed my dog in four seconds.

Edit: Yes, summoned demons/angels are crit-immune.

Four seconds? That's not all that bad. Without sipping, you could probably kill me in less than four seconds...

Back to the point, crit immunity would be nice for trackers, if there's already a hook in the code to allow for it.

lies, I killed Korath with Sojiro and Sarra! He's not crittable.

Fae aren't crit-immune sad.gif

There is a slight difference between fae and angels/demon tongue.gif
