Wow, spheres are cheap now. I thought it was meant to be 5-0.
Hyrtakos2007-06-18 05:54:49
why the change to cauldrons? a flame sigil too expensive nowadays? i actually like the risk of it getting snatched up sometimes and destroyed if you don't remember dropping it there.... meh
Shamarah2007-06-18 10:15:37
Hooray for cauldron release change, boo for no bonds change.

Cauldron release change was so that we can use selfishness without crippling our mobility.
Amarok2007-06-18 10:57:21
sigh...no *real* love for trackers yet.

Bond change is ok, but....

ah well heres holding on to hope unsure.gif

Oops! The bonds change was approved, but I overlooked it when I was coding the envoy changes. I'll fix that today.

That's why I had it changed, thanks to Synl's idea. It now varies off of who impact of Aapek/Papaxi (negative, minor negative, major negative = 1/3/5p cost)

roomwide fear to enemies for willowisp, blocked by deafness!!
Sylphas2007-06-19 01:43:36
Every time deaf/blind isn't an affliction, a litter of kittens die. Think of the kittens.

it is an affliction. I didn't say it's blocked by truehearing. If you're deaf which I always remain if I fight fesix or eagles and such, then you deal with a balance and equilibrium penalty as well as the possiblity of being induced with dizziness if you use either. I even stay deaf after I'm done until some bard hits me or i get hit with sensitivity from some mob charybdon attack cause I'm cheap like that. truehearing just makes the affliction negligible, just like how people bonded with wolf are immune to fear. it's an affliction made worthless by a def.
Sylphas2007-06-19 01:57:17
Don't mind me, I'm just bitter. You can either hear or you can't. If you can hear, and are deaf to music, well, it's obviously some kind of magic, and why the hell aren't bards magical then?

They are... do you know of any music in the real world that makes you go blind?

There are certain songs that, if played on "Repeat," will cause grown men to claw out their eyes. Isn't that the same thing? happy.gif

I'm not even getting into this. Maybe I'll make an idiots rant sometime.

Re: Music and Magic

The very vibrations of creation, while seaming magical to our Real Life brains, does not necessarily mean it is the same magic which is derived from rituals of the low and High magic sphere, which is likely not the same magic which is caused by understanding the threads of fate and planar magics.

think, Newtonian and quantum physics.

The real love to trackers would be to make their skills work, even if they were no longer in a city or commune. Just because I left, doesn't mean my boned wolf hates me.

Bastard wolf.
Unknown2007-06-19 02:40:31
What's the status on Willowisp, anyways? Does the administration still plan to implement a replacement, or are we content with the Fae we have?

Willowisp, if returned, should knock of eq (similar to Brownie, very small effect). If the person is also off-balance, it should additionally afflict with confusion/epilepsy.
Fain2007-06-19 02:53:48

I had to.
