Well with afterimage lasting like 20 seconds + time to put up sixthsense again, just how many colourbursts can you get in there?

EDIT: You really -can't- stay blind as it is currently. And I'm still very very sad that a low rank skill does more damage + afflicts compared to a trans one.

EDIT2: Also, how much damage does colourburst do if you stack manabards and everything else on your target? If it does 2k to most people without those already.. I know Kaervas' minorfifth went up to roughly 1500 on me with everything stacked.

Now just wait till about 4+ people with Glamours runs in and just about instantly wipes a room with Colourspray spam. It'll be Demonrays all over again.

Except Colourspray doesn't hit your own allies, so better.

Demonrays never hit other Noctu, that's all that really mattered.

The Achaean equivalent hit everybody, which somewhat balanced it for group vs group combat.

How powerful is it? Is it stopped by shield? Does it work on a system similar to boulderblast/hailstorm where more enemies = lessened chance of hitting?

Haven't tested it out, but I should get a buff for sticking with the bards so faithfully!

I hope that the damage on the glamours stuff isn't too extreme with blindness/sixthsense. I'd hate to see the salvation of the bards get nerfed.

Some people use the word to mean "weaken" rather than to mean "reduced to uselessness." It's kind of arb and hard to tell which they mean most of the time.

Hey, I gotta learn these gaming terms from context of what people say on the forums. It's like learning a second language by reading your first language with random new language words thrown in. Excuse my 1337 ignorance (if that's what the name of this language is, I dunno, don't pwn me, Estarra!).

Even when I'm blind, Ialie's colourspray does the same as, or more damage than, her omnitrans maestro-level rune-boosted minorsecond. (Plus an affliction.) So blindness only "nerfs" Glamours down to a level comparable to Music against a non-deaf person.

I think blindness needs to have a greater effect, though not total immunity like with deafness, and aftereffect time needs to be shortened.

Manabarbs/egovice wouldn't affect colourburst in the slightest seeing as it doesn't drain mana or ego.

Note that I explicitly said Demonrays and not Chaosrays.

I think the "balance" admins need to make up thier mind. Is blindess and Deafness an affliction or a defense?

Its getting fustrating when Estarra constantly says "these are meant to be afflictions!" and they keep getting coded to be defenses.

The defense should be considered sixsense and truehearing, not blindness and deafness (which are side effects to sixsense and truehearing).

Sure you could be deaf and blind but aren't their side effects worse than the "defense" they grant you (if you don't have sixsense and truehearing--the true defenses).
