Unfortunately, I can tell you as someone who's tried to use pigwidgeon in the past that it's incredibly easy for people to avoid that one. sad.gif

Still useful in group combat though. (Pigwidgeon that is.)

pigwidgeon is real easy with opened channels now though

- Lowmagic Green/Highmagic Gedulah will work with broken arms/legs

Does it work with severed tendons/crushed leg too? No clue if it does.
Diamondais2007-05-04 15:46:33
I put the Totem -Stag- change in because Druids do work in the trees. Some of our effects, and one major power skill, will only hit in the trees. Annoying for Wiccans, Warriors, whomever but not so much for us.

It's just a fix to a skill that's been near useless to us since as long as I can remember.

- Burnout aquired in the arena will no longer be carried over when you
leave the arena. (Nice little fix)

- The Totem skill of Stag (in Druidry) will now launch people into the
trees, even if they happen to be off balance at the time (I wonder if more hartstone will start using stag's in battle now, I think I've seen maybe a dozen summoned in the past year IRL.)

- Stag MedicineBag is usable without arm balance (This is a pro-serenguard change, I still think moon's the better choice, but this goes a long way to improving Stag for serenguard.)

- Being moved with Scissorflip will cause you to lose your entourage (Not so bad, just makes having channels open more important.)
Shorlen2007-05-06 05:40:16
The change to summoned stags isn't enough.

Hartstone should have a skill that either lets their stags follow them on the ground while they are in the trees, or the ability to call their stag to the ground just below where they are in the trees without taking balance/eq (or maybe a 1-2s eq). As others pointed out, druids fightin the trees, and it is honestly impossible to keep your stag below you during a fight. You change elevations CONSTANTLY.

Maybe the creature should be changed to a Jackalop so it can fit in the trees?

You need to come back and transfer the Hartstone Combat clan to Saran.

I want to make that usable for Envoys since it's stated it's a semi-OOC clan for triggers, alias, etc. Can't if no one can be inducted into it.

As for your suggestion, the next report I can look into it. It was a simple change, and my first.

Oh, right, I knew there was something I was forgetting.

The suggestion was a good one, don't get me wrong smile.gif That has been a serious problem for a while, but since the other free mounts all stunk too, and keeping your mount with you when you change elevations is so difficult, I had left it as is. I just think druids should have some way of keeping their mounts with them.

Narsrim PMed me saying that BT crow mounts can climb trees - has anyone been able to get stags to climb trees? I sure never did, but I didn't try very hard.

They will follow you into the trees if you climb, if you raise your cudgel or anything that would cause you to lose your entourage it will be lost

Oh, there's the problem. I always used raise cudgel to enter the trees more than climb up. What does a stag do when it attacks while in the trees?

From: Morgfyre, the Legion
To : Everyone
Subj: Bugfixes

Some major changes have been made behind-the-scenes, which have been
tested thoroughly to ensure there are no problems. The following
bugfixes have also been made which are more pertinent to you:

Crow
---------------
- When you forget the Crow skill, your nest, crow mount, egg, and
eyeballs will be destroyed.
- When you forget the Crow skill, your darkrebirth and darkspirit
defenses will be lost.

General
---------------
- The orghelp verbs with no argument will return the index instead of
giving a message referring you to a helpfile. (chelp, ghelp, etc.)

Guides
---------------
- The Guides can now possess denizens in the Newton Caverns. See the
Guides news for more information about this.

Music
---------------
- It is no longer possible to tumble, fly, dive, or scale out of
PerfectFifth.

Wicca
---------------
- When you forget Wicca, all fae will now properly be dismissed. Before,
some of the Night-specific fae would remain.

Enjoy!

Wait, so they ninja UPGRADED perfect fifth, the most unbalanced ability bards get? blink.gif
Shiri2007-05-17 07:10:55
It was like that before, but bugged out so that you could tumble or whatever out of it.

Oh, right, I remember the big argument about "should you be able to tumble out of perfectfifth" over envoys, and I think the end decision was no, you shouldn't, because bards suck except for that one overpowered skill (or such was the case back then).

Hmn. Someone test this for me? If you tumble while unperfectfifthed, and then perfectfifth hits again, do you still escape? Does it check for perfectfifthedness at the beginning or end of the tumble.
Laysus2007-05-17 12:25:21
With most things that prevent delayed movement (swimming, tumble, etc), it checks at the end of the delay.

Hee, I know what was meant, but it sounds like your eyes explode or something when you forget Crow.
