Armies of undead leading to a nerfing? It could be, aye. But if they had to spend 600 power to set up a beckon out of a greatpentagram, well... Ildaudid wasn't wrong when he said that was too expensive for the everyday. It's just less expensive than losing a construct. Let's see if it, or any other use of the skill, is even a viable tactic before calling for a nerf - it's a great rp skill that has finally gotten some nice mechanics to go with it. A celebration is in order.
And the most fitting celebration, from the perspective of Vaerhon, would be to fight zombie armies. Or Wight armies. Whatever. So bring on the zombie armies - celebration today, rebalancing tomorrow if necessary. Who knows? They may need to be nastier still.

you're also forgetting how much power needs to be regenerated to do all this between a few people. it takes time and the envoy news said they tracked, be it slow, but regenerating 600 power takes awhile. so they'll just be going in a small group rather than an army of twenty.

I think you're getting a little over-excited there. I think we got it with the first post...

So Ashteru fails, but Krellan gets his point across?
I detect bias!
'course, it's against a Gloom so there's no problem.

Everyone else fails, I win the world.

And now you went and edited his tripe-post, so he almost looks normal now. Where's the fun in that?
EDIT: And back on topic...
I love the changes to raise dead. I'm almost considering becoming a Nihilist to try them out!

Shh. Ashteru fails because Ashteru is Ashteru. And he doubleposted.
Obviously triplepositing is fine.

How long does stoneflesh last?

Stoneflesh makes it so you can't do ANY actions. It's a random time, I believe, 8-30 seconds. When stonefleshed, you also can't attack that NPC, either.

Ya, I knew you couldn't do anything, I just was unsure about the time, thanks.Unknown2007-04-08 23:49:27
The time is based on your skill in...resilience, I think.

Like the Tracking thing, if it does what I hope it does.
I've always thought Tracking was overlooked, and the fact that it's in the Mage/Druid section doesn't help any

Tried it out with Ild. When the dog is cloaked, I don't think a person should be able to see it follow them unless they're the owner.

Yes, they should. The dog moving should be cloaked, but not what it actually *does*-- just like Fae.
Reiha2007-04-09 00:33:18
Wait, can a person still see it follow them as they move from room to room? Didn't test it out that much yet.
