Both sides use influence to get fae now. (There's still occasional combat in faethorn though.)

Well I'll stop beating around the bush, I think the most fun I had in Lusternia was when I was hacking up fae and carrying them over and they would pop back up and say something about mother night. And I don't remember how it worked, but I would use that crow eye skill and listen to all the Serenwilders crying about me. Influencing and killing should both be an option imho wink.gif

Jelaludin is also enemied to faethorn because of that system and it's such a pain to get unenemied to denizen orgs.

Can we have bat mobs in the Gorgog caves please? I mean, it's rather unfair to have the subject of a trans-tradeskill deep within a hostile Org.
Daganev2007-03-19 19:06:07
A trans trade skill gives you thin blood?
Unknown2007-03-19 19:08:24
Anerod, which is milked from bats, is the trans skill of Poisons and it gives relapse.

Gwylifar actually spent a few RL-months RPing out attempts to lure or transplant a few of them there, towards the end of his tenure.

I'm amused to note that the single solitary poison Serenwilde had to itself has since been duplicated in a public area, while every one of Glomdoring's monopolies remain unchanged all this time later.

I dunno, you'd have to ask a crow user, but I don't really see why you'd want to put it on ethereal anyway since you conglut there. The really ridiculous part of the skill is that it is UNSTOPPABLE and causes you to lose NO experience whatsoever, essentially making you immune to praying and allowing you to raid risk-free if you have your nest on prime.

thought it only worked every other death though?

Hey, at least they put spiders in Arthar'rt.

Glomdoring got a psuedo-pardon for that, getting a reprieve from maeve was made easier for them to get (and you wouldn’t want to kill fae now anyway, as the avatars slay you if you hand them dead fae). I haven’t a clue if it's still in effect, as that happened a year or so ago irl, but you could always see. Oh, and when I say easy I mean relative to what it was before, you're not going to get off for 5 gold or with a orclach's charisma.

This isn't true. I don't know anything about avatars killing people who bring in dead fae but if it happened in the past I know at least it doesn't happen anymore.

Good to know, thank you smile.gif

Go test it if you don't believe me. Kill a pooka and hand it's corpse to Albion. pureevil.gif

Just save the deathsight for me to laugh over later. halo.gif

Kalodan had once accidentally handed a loyal Fae in to Selene, she wasn't too happy and killed him on the spot. Wasn't that long ago.

Ah I thought you meant the Night avatars since Jelaludin is enemied to Serenwilde. But then again, I guess he's also enemied to Glom.

In any case, the Night avatars make no distinction about whether the fae you give them are dead or alive.

Yes they do.

Darkrebirth is like lichdom on crack. When you die, anywhere on prime, if you have darkrebirth up you are reborn back at your nest with 0 experience loss. It cannot be stopped and it cannot be stripped except via inquisition. Also, when your darkrebirth fires you get a def called dark spirit that has a chance of giving people afflictions when they hit you.

It's a really ridiculous skill and is universally agreed to be overpowered.

Yes - and it requires 75 carrion per shot. You can only have 100 carrion in your nest at a time, it decays somewhat quickly. Thus, right after darkrebirth firing you'd need 50 carrion - 10 starsuckers, for instance - to afford it again, and you'd need yet more carrion to keep it from decaying the moment you summoned the dark spirits.

Daganev is completely correct. The moon avatars and the night avatars will both smite you if you hand them fae corpses, and I meant both when I said 'the avatars'.

That doesn't sound too difficult to arrange.
Ixion2007-03-21 08:52:14
It's not difficult, carrion can be replaced insanely quick.

I did it last week. I dunno what to tell you. I gave over the corpse to Gwyllgi and he said 'well caught' etc etc.
