Good lord. There was already system in place to protect your gold. For 200k you'd lose, what, 4k? 4k out of 200k is nothing compared to losing the full 200k.

edit: I quotd the wrong person!

If it's so easy to stop yourself from dropping gold when you die, why even complain since the only way you are gonna get gold from someone who dies is if
1. They are new and don't know.(Why wouldn't you want to help these people?)
2. They just forget to put it in.(and why have people be punished for this?)

I still use the bank for saving up things when I want to forget that I have money in the bank.

Banks serve more purposes then protecting your gold from being dropped when you die. Keeping your gold in your inventory just makes you MORE open to theft, so stop complaining.

Me either. I vote for unpinning. At least unless we get rid of some of the other ones and put them in a "Forum rules, read first" section (which no one will read anyway, but then they won't take up a full screen on my monitor on the general forums.)

Envoy idea: pits in tracking. I want a regular hole to dig, so someone can fall into it. No spikes, no snakes, and it'd go before those other two skills, naturally. Maybe it'd be more of a roleplay device, but it'd be neat to have regular pits.

Subj: Bard Updates

These bard updates are from a special report of the bard envoys.
Apologies for the delay in getting them out--darn seals weakening and
creation being threatened does have its distractions.

GENERAL UPDATES
-Faeleaf only cures blindness.
-Six sense only allows sight while blind.
-A new herb has been added called earwort which give "truehearing"
(allows hearing while deaf).
-Niricol only gives deafness.
-Tetrodin is back to giving blindness.
-Deafness has increased negative effects: It slightly increases balance
and equilibrium recovery as well as having a slight chance of giving
dizziness during such balance and equilibrium recovery. Truehearing, of
course, negates these side effects.

MUSIC UPDATES
-Blanknote/blankchord in music only affects earwort and truehearing.
-Death songs are faster than they were.
-SeleneLullaby now also strips dreamweave control.
-New song in Wildarrane called "Hartsong".
-TaintedLove is now stronger.
-UndeadBlues provides cold protection and allows influencing undead.
-New song in Necroscream called "SobbingDread".

Why did tetrodin and niricol get switched? Tetrodin used to give deafness and niricol blindness and now they've been switched ...

It's supposed to be an affliction, it's like ecto with an easier cure! Of course, being able to give it as a venom could be icky.

We did a quick change. Niricol now causes blindness and tetrodin is back to healthleech.

And earwort was meant to be gross! Have an herbalist read you the help file description!

I can understand it being made so, was written in a way that actually made me grimace at the thought of wanting it.
