Acrobatics:
-Springup no longer requires equilibrium.
-Dodging works on denizens for purposes of damage mitigation (i.e.,
there is a chance of damage reduction). This never gets to 100%. Though
it has always worked like this, it bears mentioning that the Dodging
skill is based on the Acrobatics skill as well as the parent skill of
Resilience.
-Somersault works more like tumble (though faster).
-Handspring can work while standing though it is faster from the
handstand position.
-Tripleflash does not work for uprooting during Wild Nodes events.

Artifacts:
-The bug giving double bonus for two handed weapons using bleed and
wounding artifact runes has been resolved (they no longer do that).

-On the off chance you have poisoner's gloves and extract poisons into
artifact vials, you will get bonus doses.

Miscellaneous:
-Movement effects that slow you shouldn't completely stop you from
moving. If you find a case where this happens, please bug this IN DETAIL
(i.e., what effects are combining that are preventing movement).
-Illusion manses will be considered aetherbubbles--so no using them as
workarounds to planar travel restrictions and communications. (And no,
that was never meant to be a feature.)

What exactly does that mean? What was the actual bug? Did a wounding rune AND a bleeding rune attached to a sword give some extra bonus? And what exactly did it do before it was fixed? What type of bonus??

I am a little confused since you know bugs can't be posted until they are resolved... now that it is resolved please let me know what was going on when it was a bug. (Mainly because I am planning on getting some more sword runes real soon, and if something that I thought was an added feature to having these runes was actually a bug, I may not wanna spend credits on certain runes) happy.gif


edit - Also, the somersault working like tumble, is it the bard form of tumble now? If so, didn't that just nerf titans big time, since bards have now received a 1 sec tumble like Titans get? Or is it still blocked by things that tumble isn't blocked by?

Uh... the bug that artifact runes gave twice as much wounding as their one-hand counterparts was resolved, Ildaudid. They don't any more. Now they give the same (well, almost-- I believe due to certain factors that there still is a little extra bonus above the one-hand counterparts) wounding/bleeding bonus-- but since two-handed weapons have more base precision *anyways*, the % addition from runes is still a higher total.

Thanks Xenthos, I had another envoy tell me exactly what they did. I am not too hip on it but I am not going to really make any comments until I get my answer back from Estarra IG.

I've got to comment- Bards are pretty good on the bashing scale.

Considering:

Bardicpresence, +2 CHA (influencers)

Instrumentbond Eq. bonus is pretty awesome. (Not stacked with anything else. Human.)

Leather armor CAN get pretty decent stats. Add elasticity onto that, for what its worth.

Contort. May not be bashing per se, but still very useful. Very fast writhe at cost of mana:

May or may not have regeneration/Evolution based on race.

Reflection capability in Illusions. (So's long as you aren't something like Tae'dae, you can definitely reflect yourself to heal up)

Or Transmigrate in Ecology. I can't quite compare the usefulness, but I'm sure reflection beats the whole death idea.

Majorthird (healing ability) is fairly good.

(Note that I don't have the precise timestamp thinger, but it is fairly close to 3.5 seconds)

I haven't tested the whole dodging vs. denizens thing, yet. (If I understand that's what it is..)

With all possible stat defs (my situation) and level 65 evolution, a bard can get:

Strength : 12 Dexterity : 15 Constitution : 14
Intelligence : 14 Size : 12 Charisma : 14
(Bardicpresence, Limber +2 DEX, Yellow +1 CON)
(Order appears to be INT, DEX, CON for evolution)

The following bugfixes and changes have been made:

Acrobatics
--------------------
- You can no longer SpringUp with a severed leg tendon.


Aquamancy
--------------------
- It has been reported that Whirlpool hitting through Pentagram/Circle
is a bug. This is intentional, and is not a bug.


Bookbinding
--------------------
- Books translated in EnchantedScript may not be sealed, as the AB file
suggested.
- Books translated in EnchantedScript may not be published (though they
can be archived).


Cosmic
--------------------
- Farscout will no longer detect people who are not in-sync with reality
(e.g., dreamweavers, ghosts, etc.)


Divine Orders
--------------------
- The various problems with Circles and rejecting Orders should now be
resolved. When joining a new Order, you will no longer carry over your
rank or Circles from previous Orders.
- Demigod Avatars will now properly lose Avatar status when leaving
their Divine Order.


Dramatics
--------------------
- It no longer costs mana to leave performance mode. Thus, it is no
longer possible to be stuck in performance mode due to running out of
mana.


HighMagic
--------------------
- Kether was checking the player's skill in LowMagic when determining
damage. It now properly checks the player's skill in HighMagic.


Necromancy
--------------------
- It was reported that Contagion did not have a lowered powercost while
in Lich form. It should be clarified that you must use BREATHE CONTAGION
(as opposed to DARKCHANT) in order to benefit from the lessened power
cost as a Lich.


General
--------------------
- You can no longer wield a weapon if that arm is broken. This means
that when you unwield your weapon due to a broken arm, you can no longer
immediately re-wield until that broken arm is cured.
- You can no longer meditate while afflicted with fear. No more running
around in terror while simultaneously calmly seeking your inner zen, I'm
afraid.
- Demigods can no longer refresh or resurrect others. They were never
supposed to be able to!
- The days of beknighted panty raids are over. You'll notice that you
can no longer see underwear outside of your fullplate.
- You can no longer wear certain items on your head while you have your
hood raised, and can not raise your hood while you have certain items on
your head.
- Hairpins have been changed slightly. You no longer attempt to entwine
it within your chest hair (whether you have some or not). They are now
worn on the head.

...and various skill typos fixed.

For balance. No one else can do anything while prone or with broken legs - why should bards? When your legs are broken, they kind of hurt, which can get in the way of quality playing and singing as well. tongue.gif

One question though: what should you do if you have a bunch of envoy suggestions but your envoy is on vacation? A while back there was a call to suggest new bard skills, but our envoy is away (temporarily I hope) and I don't know who to submit my ideas to before it's too late :S
Edit: Well what a coincidence, they just returned for a bit. Anyway, I'd still like to know, in case of future events.

With the current Envoy system, it's possible to ask another envoy to help you. You might have the most luck with Bard envoys, and the odds of them giving a slot up for your suggestion depend greatly on the suggestion.

You just have to compete with other ideas, as envoys do have a limited number of slots to submit ideas.

Aah I see, and do you know how many slots envoys get? And is it like 'one skill suggestion' per slot, or can it be a bunch of skill suggestions counting as one idea per slot? Thanks smile.gif
