That's absolute retarded. I want an artifact that gives immunity to stun then.

you smacktard size 3 isn't immunity to hinderance, its closer to resistance.

How about 2 artifacts, both are boots so you can only wear one at a time. One makes you size 1-3 and the other makes you size 23-25 or so.

There you can have your stun resistance and you can have your small writhe times but only one at a time.

You want artifact robes and shields so you can negate my offence but the moment something is mentioned to slow down yours you don't like it one bit. You just want to be overpowered.

I thought we were avoiding stat artifacts? If size is such a problem, why not look to reducing the variance in the effects it has (writhing/tumbling/stun/hunger/resistance) rather than artifacts that exaggerate the outliers and hence the problem?
Murphy2006-01-22 14:16:13
because after so many envoy suggestions to change it, it isn't being changed

What, so you want better armour so you don't have to bother trying to hinder?

Combat Balance, meet wtf?.

Two hit behead meet combat balance, wtf.

Actually,

The idea behind defensive artifact is to give an artifact-to-artifact defensive possibility to match the offensive possibilities.

Right now, warriors and warriors alone can heavily upgrade their offense and there is no similar artifact investment to combat it. While some might think this is a bad idea, I think it would probably be better for warriors in general.

Why?

Once there are defensive artifacts then the offensive artifacts factoring into the equation for warrior balance is gone. However, they pretty much have to be factored in at this point because there is nothing else to make up for them or compare.

It was at both of you. There is no need to drop to calling eachother names, save that for the bedroom.

lets face it, non artifact warriors suck so much harder than artifaced ones.

IRE gets a large bulk of credits from warriors, always has. They must desigtn them to need artifacts because every good warrior has em.

I would like to see the other classes/guilds made a little more investible, like how having a warrior is cool because you can customize all your gear with runes and arties and all... all we got for Celestines is those crit medals, which are worthless unless your a 21int Merian or a mugwump...
But before you all go off, if you had runes for armor, imagine all the arti-runed chainmail celestines... We could get prety tanky like that.

Full body artie/runes chainmail+numen+draconis+halo+lucky role of fortuna for con= nice and beefy Celestine..whoa fun.

Elemental resistance artifact would counter elemental runes, more or less. Wouldn't affect non-artied warriors.

thats what the chainmail+numen+drac+halo would be fore, the non-artied ones...
