Actualy that's true. Guessing will usualy mess you up horribly. The key thing is that answers can be found out logicaly. Even semi-guesses ("Well, it could be A or D, let me try A") are only for the more advanced puzzles.
I can get them, but it takes me a good half hour to do, and it makes me cry (if you put a piece in wrong, you may not know you did until you're almost done and get stuck somewhere.).
Overall, I'm VERY pleased with it.

It didn't have to be a merian specifically. Just some people can't find the clam, and a lot of merians happen to know where it is

I was NOT lazy, I spent like 50 minutes trying to find that FREAKING CLAM.
Then Acrune told me the bottom two levels of the sea are bisected and I was prolly looking in the wrong one.(Still couldn't find it though. Acrune then went down himself and found it in 2 minutes.
