Thought I would pimp this great indie game made by only 2 developers, it has by far the coolest horseback battling i've seen in any 3d game and the system requirements are real low. Check it out if you are looking for a free game with great medieval combat. It's only 12$ US to register which unlocks it. I consider it a great deal for such a cool game.

I just dl'd the game and played it. Its rather fun but you have to constantly be paying attention cause if you aren't you will get guys sneeking up behind you and then you are in some tough shape. I plan to buy the full release of it when i can afford to.

I am back Guido.

Back back, or back like last time back?
edit: Oh, and I HATE using the polearms, its the only weapon I consistanty die with.

Good game
I'm only good with the one-handed sword and shield though

What i did was do ALOT of arena fights. That way you get to practice with every type of weapon. Nothing better then lancing a archer at full draw. Now if only i could control my guy that well in out of city battles then i'd prolly be dangerous.
Daganev2005-11-15 19:04:29
I even talked to the guy about Lances, and I just don't get how to use it... so frustrating. My lance battles always take twice as long as any other weapon. My favorite is Archer on horseback though.
Munsia2005-11-15 20:59:16
Lance is fun and if I'm an archer on horseback I just say screw it and shoot down the horses then charge everyone

gah 6 levels just isnt cutting it. I made about 10 logins that got to level 6 by now
Edit: The merchant quest boosted me too much
I had my own personal army of 14... But I need to be a full member so I can upgrade my watchmen... looks soooo cool

standing vs mounted combat, When my character isn't on a horse i am more dangerous i believe. Cause you got this idiot barreling down on you, and if you time it right you can nail his horse and him and it disrupts his attack and he just rides harmlessly by. On a horse i just can't get the hang of it. Archery i am starting to figure out its alot more simple then i thought it was.
ohh whats the largest army group you've had under your control so far in the demo version? Mine is 24.

Yeah, aslong as the comp doesn't have a lance, I'm always very happy when they are on a horse.

23 army of watchmen oh and a few manhunters decided to join my army
Ya I fight melee better. I started off as a merchant on my last one and she got a mace so I was able to enslave all of the people I killed

Sword or Mace I'm great with. I've taken on like 6 of them chasing after me in a line taking them down one at a time. Awesome game. Found the cheats to it on the forums but I probably will never use them
