I go to cross Faethorn to get to the Earth plane to go bash Astral. Demesne + cudgel from the next room hit me immediately on entering the archway, no prelude at all.

I ask, can I cross through to go to the Earth plane, or do I have to fight my way through.

I didn't want any aggro on Ethereal, I wasn't there to subvert your fae, attack anybody, demesne anything or do anything Bad, Evil and/or Wrong. I was told, specifically, that I wouldn't be allowed through without a fight. That's what I asked, "Can I go through peacefully, or would you like me to fight my way through?" She chose to fight me.

I shouldn't have to ask permission to bash anyway, but that's the way the planes are set up. Clearly Serenwilde wants even closer relations between Glomdoring and Magnagora, because I'm going to become very friendly with them if I have to use them to get to good hunting grounds.

Something like that... basically heres the trick. Pay whatever fine it is you have to pay to get unenemied to seren and noone will give you troubles if you promise never to raid yadayada
