Darksilver + anorexia + aeon is sick.

I don't see anything else though, it was relatively easy for you to use infidel on him, as a matter of fact, after at least 6 seconds (from the look of speed going up) of him glowing you were still able to mark him with infidel. I stand by my comment that it is way too easy to pull it off.
Amaru2005-06-02 21:59:39
Hardly...

Shield? Ghost? So many ways to stop it. Murphy NEVER lets inquisition finish on him, same with Daevos.

Having not learned the lessons of his sins, you mark the heretic Thorgal as an

Next to that, inquisition itself doesn't seem to have any time requirement at all, they apparently just have to be afflicted with both heretic and infidel, but neither are curable. I don't think the effect of Inquisition should be downgraded, but it oughta be just a tad harder to pull off sad.gif.

Didn't you listen to Amaru, you could have ran or ghost. Wait, heretic hits through ghost. laugh.gif

How about, leaving the room? Heretic and infidel are only really useful as a leadup to inquisition... which can't be done to a ghost. It isn't easy to pull off. Watch me try it again if he has it highlighted....

You can't cure them, but you can prevent the glowing..

Which doesn't matter at all, since you can just spam infidel untill it works, glowing or not, and apparently inquisition doesn't even need the glowing.

Though Amaru's got a point, the only reason I got inquisitioned is cause I didn't have it highlighted, but not everyone can escape just as easy to prevent it. Fact remains, the setup is just too easy, since there are effectively no requirements to it at all.

Yes, I found that odd too. You can inquisition without waiting for another glowing, and only need them with heretic and infidel. This should be changed. I also think Infidel/Inquisition should require equilibrium if you try it and they aren't glowing, rather then just allowing you to spam it till it succeeds.
Amaru2005-06-03 12:32:24
It -does- take insane amounts of mana if you spam it. I would have been easy wrack fodder.

No-one is easy wrack fodder.

Tuek had me at 0 mana on the test server. I wasn't bothering to sip, just writhed every time he webbed me.

He failed wrack 5-6 times.

Though you would never think that from all the logs he posts of him killing people as a nihilist while they aren't healing and talking about how awesome the class is...
Unknown2005-06-03 15:45:14
Why is Amaru's echo "Thorgal IS PREPARED FOR INFIDEL/INQUISITION!" when the glow isn't a requirement for inquisition? Did it used to require the glow?

Actually, the reason I wasn't able to wrack her, is because damned Spindle went on a Demon Lord killing rampage, leaving me with one single pact of useless investable powers. So I changed to Blacktalon.
Terenas2005-06-03 15:53:18
Wait, Inquisition only requires heretic/infidel, not even glowing? blink.gif
Gah, underpowered Celestines, my foot.

Yep, which the last part of the log proves.
Unknown2005-06-03 16:11:25
Stop thinking sacrament skills are the most powerful laugh.gif You will need to be glowing, for infidel and inquistion to work.
Terenas2005-06-03 16:15:05
Yeah, just like how you said a Sacrament user has to keep giving you heretic/infidel for the glowing and afflictions to keep hitting? Right...
Unknown2005-06-03 16:16:11
I was like half asleep when I said that tongue.gif The only way for Infidel and Inquistion to work, is if you have the glowing on you.
Terenas2005-06-03 16:24:34
Let's see here.

Heretic can be done at any given time.

Infidel has a huge window of opportunity in which you can do it since the person will be glowing for the next 15 or so seconds.

Inquisition can be done right away if the person is marked with heretic/infidel. Wow, that's incredibly hard to pull off. I can just see the incredible amount of timing and patience that must be put in to execute it.
Eiru2005-06-03 17:40:14
Why are you surprised?
Apparently all their best skills also do not require eq/balance.
TH, anyone?
