You say, "How much esteem do you have?"

Dulcet ponders for a moment and says "Hrm..."

Abecedarian Dulcet says, "Not much, I sort of just offered a figurine."

Dulcet shuffles her feet uneasily.

You nod your head emphatically.

You say, "That's a good use of it then."

Dulcet nods her head emphatically.

You say, "I just hope Hallifaxian citizens aren't selling esteem to non-Hallifaxians."

You say, "Offering is good though."

Abecedarian Dulcet says, "I have 155 on me, if you need it for some reason."

Dulcet nods her head at you.

You shake your head.

Abecedarian Dulcet laughingly says to you, "I offered it here, if you want to check your order logs."

You say, "Are you interested in joining Lord Zvoltz's order?"

Abecedarian Dulcet says, "Possibly, but I'd like to work more in the city and the guild before joining an order."

You ponder Dulcet thoughtfully, looking her up and down.

You say, "Why."

Abecedarian Dulcet says, "Because I don't want to divide my attention."

You say, "Wouldn't it be more efficient to work in all three, do you believe you're not competent enough to work to the benefit of three organizations at once?"

Dulcet chuckles long and heartily.

Abecedarian Dulcet says, "No, because I don't believe in half-assing things."

You say, "Then learn to whole ass three things."

Dulcet gives a trillingly melodic laugh.

You baptise Dulcet into The Labourers of the Divine Order of Zvoltz, the Architect.

Dulcet nods her head emphatically.

Dulcet opens her mouth as if to say something to you, but pauses.

(The Labourers): You say, "Welcome Dulcet to Lord Zvoltz's Labourers."

(The Labourers): Dulcet says, "Thank you!"

You say, "He will be very displeased if you do not perform well."

Showing that she understands, Dulcet nods her head slowly.

Abecedarian Dulcet says, "I will work hard, then."

(The Labourers): Ushaara (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Welcome, Dulcet! And hello!"

(The Labourers): Zvoltz says, "Welcome, Dulcet."

You say, "You've got a year to complete all the tasks in Ohelp labourers."

You say, "You are not to neglect the city, or your guild."

You say, "If you fail, I'll relieve you of your burden and remove you from one of those organizations at random, Sound fair?"

You say, "This is where you nod, Abecadarian."

Dulcet nods her head emphatically.

Dulcet gives a trillingly melodic laugh.

Abecedarian Dulcet says, "Of course."

While Dulcet may be ok with this, I feel like inducting people into Orders without their permission shouldn't really be a general practice

I agree with you, but in Morbo's defense, I think he knew fully well that Dulcet was planning to join the Order eventually, but was putting it off due to a misperceived idea of the workload. In this sense, I think it's a good idea to give people that friendly shove into the water, or in this case, the sky. Additionally, he could of always renounced Zvoltz if he truly had no intentions of joining, and I bet Zvoltz would be more upset with Morbo force-recruiting an unwilling follower than he would be with the character who was indoctrinated.

Those are just my two sovereigns.

Yep. I'm not sure it's okay to pressure people into divine interaction. I'm sure Morbo meant well, but inducting without permission, or pushing to join an order in anything more then a friendly way isn't really okay...

It's like ninja-marrying people.

I'm quite glad I'm not in Hallifax, sheesh. If I got forced to take on more than I could handle, I wouldn't even play anymore.

This is silly, I know Dulcet quite well and knew she would be okay with this. I would never do this to someone that was not ready or that I was not very familiar with, and I wrote the bloody tasks she needs to perform to advance in the Order, which some of them very closely mirror guild and city tasks so inducting her now saves her time in the long run. I posted this because it was a fun bit of RP amongst two friendly people.

And ninja marrying is hilarious.
Placeus2012-03-19 05:27:25
Ninja divorcing is also fun.

At the end of the day it's all about flailing the epeen around, evidently.

Eh, at the end of the day, he could have just QUIT ORDER if he didn't want in.

Dulcet's title is Abrakadabrian? Is (s)he a magician/pokemon?
