So, inspired by the veritable herd of ponies Ssaliss spawned, it got me thinking about beasts and more fun. So the idea came about of different competitions that tie into how the beasts are trained. Take for example:

A beast pageant! Beasts with more spirit trains will do better in this competition, but to prevent competitors from just submitting all spirit-trained beasts, add a variable factor like the judges having different preferences. Perhaps one of the panel of three judges would indeed like spirited beasts, but favours one who knows bodyguard as a skill too. Or maybe another who prefers reptilian beasts over avian ones. Or maybe a judge who likes a balanced beast with spirit and mind trains!

Or maybe a beast race track where beasts with more body trains will do better, but the varying factor comes in at the participation of the riders yelling out the right encouragements at the right time! Or perhaps dangling carrots or sugar cubes or bags of oats in front of the critter!

Yes, I am indeed random and just really like beasts.

Can my custom pet compete?

Sure, why not. Even kitties like to be praised by a group of npc judges.
