Hey everyone, was just curious what curing systems everyone uses out there and why they prefer that system?

M&M. It be updated regularly, arrrr. And I am pretty gosh darn dumb when it comes to Lua.

I use many many systems over the past 7 years of IRE gaming. o_O Currently too lazy and short on time to update the out of date ones. So I use a modified M&M for mudlet and another custom system for MUSH because I like playing around with both clients. It's hard to pick a favorite and I believe that a diversity in the variety of clients available to customers is healthy for the game. :)

P.S. I don't trust the auto-parry in any system. >_> Manual parrying is the way to go for me.

My current system is self-made and, ah... just awful. Really genuinely bad. I guess I'll shell out for M&M next bardic win.

Chaos was won approx 90% on m&m

I've always wanted to try making my own, but I'm really lazy. So instead I paid Vadi.

(Even though I haven't updated in forever.)

M&M though I do have Ethelon's system too

M&M, mostly of out of laziness! When I first started playing I was on cMUD and had a decent self-made system that did what I needed it to. During a long dormancy I switched over to Linux (and can't imagine going back to Windows) and when I came back I didn't feel like trying to remake the whole thing over again.

Plus Vadi does what he does very well, is always responsful, and is very helpful!

I wanna support Ethelon's too. :) I really should purchase a copy of his next time for the MUSH client on my old laptop. I primarily use Vadi's M&M and Mudlet for my PC desktop.

After a failed attempt to make my own system I switched to m&m. It is very efficient and easy to use, just like my Mac :D

Vadi's m&m, I was a very big fan of Treant when I played in the days before Mudlet and still maintain that it was a damn good system (Cheers Iasmos). I made a few modifications to it and also used some other user supplied Auto-Parry and rearranged aff priority stuff. I loved it because it allowed awesome integration with your own code for things like autobashing, autorazing and autoattacking by hooking into prebuilt affliction and balance tracking. Vadi's m&m has really picked that up, it has the exact same hooks that allow you to make scripts which only fire if you don't have specific afflictions and you have arm balance for example (allows spamming a macro without spamming the game), I have the best autoraze system I've ever managed to setup using m&m, the only time I miss razing/shielding now is if they get a really lucky rebounding tic with latency.

After properly configuring the parry/stance system and learning how to use the new automapper to setup special exits and map new areas I couldn't be happier with a system. The other thing I love is that I'm always finding new features to play around with, especially ones that massively improve combat potential like a properly configured lustlist (been lazy about this) and configuring for ally and enemy illusions.

Crown.

It's not a system, it's a lifestyle.

100% of the past 2 Ascensions were won by Crown users.

I use a very tasty sounding system. It makes me hungry each time I look at its name.
Razenth2012-02-09 19:44:11
Hot biscuits?

Maybe with some gravy.

Or an egg. And some sausage! And a little maple syrup, mmmm.

Oh god, I'm so hungry now!!

I use the best made system ever: FirstAid.
I survived a monk using it!

Writing my own, because there aren't any available for tintin++. :(

Once it's done I plan on releasing it for free. Expect it around 2050.
