Rifts capped at 500 of a commodity?

I was going through my rift and found that some goods that I pulled from my rift were no longer able to be deposited again afterwards, having been told that only a maximum of 500 could be stored at one time.

One concern I have is: Will commodities that are in the rift over the cap of 500 still be safe in there, or will they be subject to decay? (For example in a recent present I got somewhere in the vicinity of 930 meatfeed that was put straight in my rift despite this cap)

Won't decay.

No, they won't decay or anything like that. Presents ignore the maximum riftable limit because they're gifts and we don't want to leave you with the hassle of juggling spare items. As long as you don't take out more than you need, you shouldn't encounter any problems!

Huh, I thought for some reason that the rift limit was 2000, or does that only apply to liquidrift?
Kiradawea2011-12-13 22:06:12
It is. However reagents and beastfeed are capped at 500 items. Everything else (I think, I may have forgotten something) cap out at 2000 in general.

Particles tap at something silly low like 120, but that's pretty much it I think. Oh and tints.

Particles are 50 last I checked.

Tints cap at 500.
