With the majority of my computer problems fixed, I can now blissfully play certain games I have on here, when bored in/with Lusternia. At first I was just gonna ask for one particular game, but I have a few multiplayer games that would be nice to play with people I'm at least somewhat familiar with. Anyone else looking for people to play with is free to hijack this thread.

Games I'm looking to play with others.
  • Sins of a Solar Empire. Prefer if you have all of them, but can downgrade if need be.
  • Alien Swarm. Free game on Steam
  • Star Wars: Battlefront II. Someone gifted this to me when it was on sale for $5 on Steam.
  • League of Legends. Yes there's a thread for it, but for completions sake. Though I'm horribly out of practice, having not played for a month or two, and connection is being weird on me, though might just be due to my location in the house.
  • Demigod
  • Team Fortress 2
  • Spiral Knights

Those are the ones that I can recall. If I remember/acquire any new ones, will add to the list.
Playing against the AI can only be fun for so long.

I play SW:BFII, but I've never done multiplayer online, because my old roomate would pwn me over and over and over again sad.gif.

It's a stupid debate. They're both fun, they're different. I can't play HoN to any degree of competence anymore, and have no real urge to. LoL's just better for me.

...no. The genre has tonnes of unexplored potential (see: BLC) but they're a pretty solid start compared to early examples of the FG, FPS, RTS, and so on.

I tried on Rika's request, and then it crashed and wouldn't let me back in, and the programme that was ostensibly causing it also crashes and won't let me in.

EDIT: also it reminded me of how terrible juke-fog and denying are, but at least I can PICK ANY HERO

Also, I played Alien Swarm with Silferras and another guy I know one time, have they added anything new or whatever since release though?

I haven't had the chance to play Alien Swarm in several months, and the one game I've done was with the AI, so no clue if anything new has been added.

Almost all the games you listed are terrible and score 7/10 or lower by my standards. I used to play Sins alot until I realized how bad it was.

Although star wars battlefront is pretty awesome.

Hon. Magicka (to an extent). Crysis 2. Minecraft. Terraria.

Your standards != everyone elses standards.

I like those games, you don't, I don't care. Just like we all like to play muds, but others don't, doesn't meant anything.

Edit:
The point of this thread is/was not to compare games, it's to find people willing and able to play multiplayer games with.
Shiri2011-06-23 14:10:26
Is Magicka actually stable now? chin.gif
Llesvelt2011-06-23 14:40:05
The unstableness was part of the fun!

Also, those fucking Druids!

And Yetis!
Shiri2011-06-23 17:02:47
I mean the crashing kind of unstable, not the "TEWI STOP censor.gif VOLCANOING ME OFF THE BRIDGE GODDAMNIT" kind of unstable.
Unknown2011-06-23 17:29:27
When I finally get Windows back up and running I would love to own you completely make a terrible attempt at playing LoL.
Unknown2011-06-23 17:58:14
Defcon owns. All Introversion games are good. Subversion is gonna rock.

@aqua - being a designer of games entitles me to be a little arrogant where my taste is concerned. I know whats good and I know whats bad. And I wont say thats just my opinion.

But it is your opinion. Just like some people would say Country music is horrible, while on the other side people will like it, everyone is entitled to liking what they will, but their opinion on the matter is still their opinion and not hard fact in my opinion.

/back to the topic at hand.
I need people to play with!
