I've heard a lot of conflicting things about harvest balance and race. Does racial balance change harvest balance regain as much as it does for something like limb balance in monks and warriors?

Don't think it does. I have 1 herb/s with gloves as human.

When I was faeling before I got my gloves my harvesting was increased, when I got my gloves it was increased more. It's possible it's faster than 1herb/second then if you can do that as human.

Once you go faeling w/Gloves herbalist, you never go back.

Yeah, as a faeling with gloves I definitely get it faster than 1/s. I can harvest a room in glomdoring with 60 each of three different kinds of herbs in ~2 minutes or so. In fact, harvesting was the fastest balance use I could find, and I modeled my tempTimer for the bal/eq chaser in Stygian around it, have it set to 0.5 seconds, and when debugging is on the harvest happens right after the msg that it's unsetting my failsafe. (Turns out, occasionally the balance/eq flag shows up in your prompt just before you actually have it back, or it did, I think they may've fixed it when I submitted the bug report)



Edit: harvest them down to 5, that is. I generally harvest down to 5, then nature growth. I'd do guard too, but that 1 power adds up rather quickly.
