A bit of late night/early morning conversation with the Enigma.

QUOTE
(Urynmal eya Llanitha): Elostian says, "Aicuthi, is your fabulos masterpiece done yet?"

(Urynmal eya Llanitha): You say, "Almost, my Lord. Though I do believe if I did not stop myself, it would never be finished."

Emanating from the aether, a sonorous multi-toned voice says, "Such is the incredible nature of Science."

You say, "If a mortal could ever dream to know the concept of infinity - that would be just it. The pursuit of trying to find more than one already knows. It is a curse and a blessing."

You say, "I'm sure You however, are not bothered by such things."

Emanating from the aether, a sonorous multi-toned voice says, "Hence the rumoured Bountiful Omniscience."

Looking up once again with a curious expression, you ask, "Bountiful Omniscience...?"

Emanating from the aether, a sonorous multi-toned voice says, "Yes. Do you doubt the Omniscience?"

You ask, "Is that something even a shardling can try to attain?"

You shake your head.

Emanating from the aether, a sonorous multi-toned voice says, "No, I am speaking of My rumoured Omniscience."

You say, "I do not doubt it. How many eons, I wonder, did it take You to achieve such a state?"

You say, "They surely cannot be counted on these hands."

Aicuthi rests a hand on her chin, seemingly deep in thought.

Emanating from the aether, a sonorous multi-toned voice says, "Considering My history is shorter than that of some individuals in My order, this concept could be debatable."

You nod your head slowly in understanding.

You say, "The origins of Your sum, the brothers Elcyrion and Lacostian."

You ponder the situation.

You say, "That may be true...but it is what makes Lord Elostian unique, I think."

Emanating from the aether, a sonorous multi-toned voice says, "What do you hope to gain from membership of My order?"

Aicuthi fiddles with her hands insecurely.

You say, "I may not have Bountiful Omniscience, or anything like that...But to learn, and when I speak feel that I have confidence in knowing. To be able to share it as well. That is why I follow my Lord."

Emanating from the aether, a sonorous multi-toned voice says, "And being near Me will diffuse this knowledge into you?"

You shake your head.

A series of chiming notes, distinctly crystalline, ring out in the distance in a slow, descending scale.

You say, "The path is hard, and long. It won't be handed to you, or given for free. But that is why its worth it. For me, that's my Learning Conscience."

Emanating from the aether, a sonorous multi-toned voice says, "Quite."

Emanating from the aether, a sonorous multi-toned voice says, "My attention is required elsewhere, we shall speak again."

You incline your head politely to those around you.

I am SO glad this isn't what I hope it wasn't when I saw the word Twilight in the thread title laugh.gif .

*sparkles*

On topic, <3 Elostian as always.
Aicuthi2010-08-06 13:29:19
I should have tried to question the Bountiful Omniscience upon rereading that log, but figure that can wait for next time.
Unknown2010-08-06 13:31:38
Ooh, darn, such neat times. I get jealous a lot of people's cool Elostian interactions, but Phoebus just wouldn't fit into his order at all. suspicious.gif She's just not a science kind of gal.
Ileein2010-08-06 14:56:56
Whenever you interact with Elostian, it's always wise to ask him something like "In precisely what fashion did the Elder Wars end?" or "What is the meaning of life?" Someday, inevitably, he'll slip up and actually answer. Maybe.
Serella2010-08-06 21:33:13
Elostian's always seemed like a fun god to interact with, but a little intimidating too. Maybe it's the whole omniscient-disembodied-voice-popping-out-of-nowhere thing.

Oh hey, is that a Young Wizards series reference?
Ileein2010-08-06 21:39:49
Maybe.
Aicuthi2010-08-06 22:41:49
I like when you're pushed to improve. Character development happens most frequently when put on the spot or biting the tongue.

That could be a good porno name depending on what he is impaling with.

GO TEAM ROCKET!

Prepare for trouble!
Make it double!
To protect the world from devastation!
To unite all peoples within our nation!
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
To extend our reach to the stars above!

....oh sorry wrong reference!

I'm team Edward. Never read the books but my old roommate made me watch the movies with her. It seems like Jacob does squat for Bella other than say "I like you", while Edward breaks his neck for her.

Why am I even talking about this? Anyways...

I never read them or watched them. I'm just trolling.

Edward is a whinny little bastard, who goes on and on and on about how he can't make her a vampire cuz that's wrong, and how sleeping with her could kill her and wahhhh wahhhh waahhh.

jacob on the other hand is kind of mature and ok, but gets kind of weird at the end. (won't say why unless you really don't care because it is kind of a spoiler.)

True. Not to mention Bella screams Mary Sue. Her character trait is being 'clumsy', which inevitably ends up being a trademark charm of hers. rolleyes.gif

You can spoil it for me, I'm never reading that fluff.

Bella gets knocked up, has a kid (which almost kills her, lol) and Jacob ends up like..."bonding" with it, which is y'know most certainly robbing the cradle and being a pedophile.
