EDIT: Oh wow, looking over this, I missed a lot of things. I need to highlight more stuff.

Pay attention to your effects and know their timers. If my angel doesn't proc in a while, I'll check to see why. A timer helps greatly with us. Mind the shield. You seem to have the enemy tracking script, so pay attention to that and do your best NOT to hit it. Try and feel out how they fight. I noticed he shields a lot. If you leave and come back, you could assume he'll be shielded and act accordingly.

A few things that may help:

1. Fist sigils on the items you wield will prevent you from unwielding them on most occasions.
2. To slow things down while you're learning, shield now and then. Since he seems to shield immediately on entering a room, you can do that, too. One of you will have to start, but at least you can time it with your demesne then if you attack first.
3. You looked a bit panicky under choke (which is understandable). Since you got choke curing, just lean back for a fight and see how well the reflexes work (even if you die) and what you have to do manually if necessary.
4. If you have tumble, you can try that directly after the enemy attacks somehow (and is off eq). They might follow you in time, but sometimes it works.

Do Wicca ents follow on raise cudgel?

The enemy tracking script stores the shield status in a variable, so you could try and make use of that in some of your attack aliases.

Don't eat a non-sparkleberry herb as though it was sparkleberry unless it's just for bashing. You also lose herb balance when you eat coltsfoot, and that is worse than eating real sparkleberry.

Get some chervil?

When you're toadcursed, check your map and move ASAP. The one time I sparred Yamori, I managed to hop all over the arena until the curse wore off and then I put up my defenses again.

Nope neither do demons/angels/beasts/etc.

You also need to be quicker to renemy people when love potion tics. I usually have my system reject and enemy on eq if my current target gets lusted. You'd need to be careful doing that while in choke though.

Toadcurse wears off?! I wish I would have known that sooner

Takes a while. Alternatively, someone can KISS TOAD to end it sooner, but they run the risk of being toaded themselves.

Pretty sure you can't check the map while toaded though.

I didn't mean you should MAP to see where you are after you're toaded. I have mine captured to a miniwindow and can see the last one displayed. If that's not valid, I can always LMAP to see my own local map.
