Forgive me if this is the wrong forum to be posting this. I really didn't know where it went. :<

Okay, so perhaps I am doing something wrong, or its a bug because it doesn't -work-.

I paid for my horse to be fed in the stables for 32 months and its down to 11 months now and twice now I've recieved a message that she ran out of food and lost a level. Considering this is a nitemare ( expensive things ), I'd rather not have it permanently die while I am away and unable to keep it alive. Could someone explain to me why this keeps happening?

It's because you forget to beast dismiss. If they aren't in the stables, the stables won't take care of them.

No, you do not always remember. Just last night I came across a random nightmare left in front of the Black Tower, which happened to be yours, and be near starving. Unfortunately, other people can't send your beasts back to the stables for you short of killing them, so there's not really anything to do once you have QQed.

If you have a hard time remembering (and a lot of people seem to, don't sweat it), just make a quit alias and make sure beast dismiss is a part of it, so that you will always send them back to the stables when you leave the realms.

Don't they auto-stable-return when they 'die'?

They try. Some don't make it.

I don't know, but I definitely have seen beasts die at the Ravenwood or wherever. It's a sad moment. sad.gif

That's because they die at level one. They starve, lose a level, then die if their new level is less than one.
