CODE
A huge archdemon looms here, surrounded by black mist.
CODE
This huge creature is barely recognisable as humanoid, its form has been so twisted by the taint. It stands almost ten foot high, the huge wings behind it making it seem almost as wide. Great tumours have erupted from its body, whilst its limbs are twisted out of proportion. A huge maw is filled with massive teeth, black ooze dripping down its chin. Bright red eyes blaze above the grin, the only clear feature in the blackened, corrupted form. Multiple limbs have erupted from its sides, some massive, clawed arms, others stunted mockeries or sinuous tentacles. Its nose exhales a black smoke, which wraps around to surround the monstrosity.
A hideous archdemon appears to be extraordinarily strong.
He weighs about 625 pounds.
He is loyal to the Demon Lords of Nil.
You cannot see what a hideous archdemon is holding.

QUOTE (Lake Aspect)
The Daughter of the Rivers is an aspect of the Great Spirit of Lakes, Rivers and
Falls. Surrounded by mists, her figure is difficult to see, though she has
sparkling sapphire eyes and wears a dress of flowing waters.
The Daughter of the Rivers almost glows with nearly god-like power.
She is strangely weightless.
You see nothing in it.

QUOTE (Sun fae)
The bare skin of this naked fae is burnt black all over. Small flakes of flesh
slough away from his joints as he moves, though he seems not to feel the
slightest amount of pain. His crimson eyes smoulder with an inner fire, and
wisps of dark smoke escape his nostrils and from between his lips as he
breathes.
A smouldering embaruli looks to be crushingly strong.
He weighs about 30 pounds.
You see nothing in it.

A bright orange scarf is pulled across the face of this fae so that only her
brilliant golden eyes are visible. Similarly, the rest of her is swathed in a
mass of orange silk so that she could be of any shape or size. All that
distinguishes her is the flaming hair, wreathing around her head in a bright red
inferno that burns with a palpable heat that does not scorch her skin or
clothes.
A fiery nimbuli looks to be crushingly strong.
She weighs 12 ounce(s).
You see nothing in it.

The round face of this little fae is tanned a perfect honey gold, giving off a
halo of light and energy. His body seems pale in comparison in its scrappy white
clothes. The radiance surrounding his head shifts slowly, flickering brighter at
a whim. Though the coronuli has no wings, his feet never seem to quite touch the
ground.
A flickering coronuli appears to be extraordinarily strong.
He weighs 5 ounce(s).
You see nothing in it.

I keep random descriptions and stuff in a Wordpad file, so it looks like you got lucky this time. laugh.gif

QUOTE
Fain begins to chant in a deep and baleful voice, and an iron cross rises up
from the ground before you. Vicious spikes slam into your flesh and nail you to
the cross. You scream in pain and agony as blood is splattered in all
directions.

Does anyone here know what the Nil Grim Horror was called before it was tainted?

And desc, please. IF IT EXISTS. /i hope it does
Lendren2009-11-27 13:49:33
Well, it was tainted when the game started, so it probably doesn't have a pre-taint description. The only likely exception is if it changed during the untainting event two years ago.

Well I thought some pre-made books which contained information like this are present somewhere in-game.

Okay, I am in dire need of someone who knows how the Hand of Tzaraziko looks like. If you can give the probed description, it will be much much much appreciated, although you can also describe how it looked (if you lost the desc). Please and thank you!

It is a skeletal / fossilized hand clutching a big crystal-like object of immense power. If I recall correctly.

Thanks. Hmm, can you still remember what the color of the crystal was?

QUOTE
Within the Infernal Machine.
Churning and roiling smoke covers the ground in a thick layer, knee-deep on even
the taller igasho. The walls of this chamber weep half-congealed blood, black
clots and chunks within the watery fluid shining in the angry crimson light,
often only moving when the musculature of the wall spasms or pushes outwards in
a pulsating motion, as if labouring for breath. The thunderous roar of machinery
is both muffled and amplified by the fog, suggesting it comes from below as well
as above, and to the sides. Great gears, bars and clockwork mechanisms line five
cold steel doors, their jagged edges slashing and tearing the nearby flesh as
they open and close, easily pushed open by a bit of force, be it a hand or the
stomach-turning stench of rotten flesh. A single ladder moves both up and down,
bloodied valves struggling to close against the cold iron frames that hold them
open, rusted edges and sharpened frame mutilating the muscles as they attempt to
spasm shut. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the
ground.
You see exits leading north, east, south, west, up, down, and in.

QUOTE
the Iron Key to the Infernal Machine

Smoldering with an angry crimson miasma of tainted smoke, the Iron Key
to the Infernal Machine lies here.

Forged of crimson-tinged, tainted iron, this key radiates a malevolence
befitting its demonic form. Jagged teeth form the bit, riddled with dent-like
depressions and raised bumps, sticking out like angry fangs from the pin of the
palm-sized trinket. The throating and collar of the key have been twisted, a
raised rim of blackened iron set against the deeper, rust-red colour of the
twisted and worn iron of a thin depression, forming a perfect circle. Angry red
and throbbing black glyphs and runes have been etched across the stem, the very
source of the crimson aura. Fashioned into the shape of a demon's grinning
skull, complete with horns, the bow has been etched with the symbols of
pestilence, despair, pain, wrath and domination, its opened mouth leaking an
angry red smoke. A thin, rusted iron jewelry chain has been fed through one eye
and the back of the demon's skull, allowing it to be worn about the neck.
It weighs 9 ounce(s).

It doesn't seem to produce a message for everyone in the room to see, nor spur mob reactions, but it does have an ambiance that the wearer can see. Will be forth coming once I have it again.

EDIT:

Also...

QUOTE
You remove the Iron Key to the Infernal Machine.
As you pull the Iron Key to the Infernal Machine from about your neck, the
crimson smoke leaking from its eyes slows to a trickle. A sense of loss fills
you, leaving you empty and barren.

You slip into the Iron Key to the Infernal Machine.
As the Iron Key to the Infernal Machine settles about your neck its teeth and
shaft clink mechanically as they slowly spin, crimson smoke billowing from the
eye sockets of the demonic skull. A sense of hatred, of pain, of damnation and
endless hunger fills you suddenly.
Siam2009-12-31 18:06:59
thank you!
Esano2009-12-31 22:44:59
There is an ambiance everyone can see, about it turning/clicking and blood trickling from the eye sockets.
