So, I'm about to get out of the military (Yay, me!) and will be moving back to the US. (Have been in Germany/Iraq for the last three years.) I'm a native Minnesotan, but will be moving to Phoenix, AZ come the end of August to attend school there. Anyone else in the Phoenix area or Arizona in general?

We'll be house hunting when we get there, but until then it's either staying with a friend, getting a hotel, or getting a short lease apartment. Which one depends on how long everything looks like it's going to take. I'll be shooting for something nearish Tempe since that's where I'll be hitting the books at.

I spend my summers in northern Phoenix (so I'm there right now). Rest of the year I'm in Flagstaff at school.

I'm in northwestern Tempe. I think one of the apartments in my complex is open, too. Let's see, there's a couple bars I know of nearish the school. And at least one restaurant, and the Tempe public library.
